The branded version is... morehttp://www.sammobile.com you can go to this website, all firmware of any carrier they have it, choose the right carrier firmware and flash it, then after flashing it perform wipe cache and factory reset so that there will be no problem in booting it in new firmware, and also before you flash it backup all your file.

I feel so helpless with my S4 I9505. The branded version is i9505vjufnc1 and still on KITKAT. Even websites can't give me any firmware so I can upgrade it to LOLLIPOP. I hope you can give me some advise or clues. I received it from a friend. He bought it from GUAM but I'm living in Philippines. Thank you in advance for favorable response.

I have this Samsung galaxy s4 i9505, and I updated it to Lollipop which turns out so good to me because I myself flashed the firmware, I download the firmware update from sammobile, and the battery is so good I charged it and it gives me 2-3 days using only text and calls, I never had any issue with the update, Im loving this phone since Im an iphone user for 4 years but then I switched to android.

Pull the notification bar down using two fingers a... moreYes I told you NFC is on and highlighted. But when I bring any other mobile back to back with it then nothing happens. Which means no application including gallery, internet, etc detects NFC of the other phone.
I am worried.

Pull the notification bar down using two fingers about 1cm apart. NFC is on the 3rd row. If it is highlighted (showing green) then NFC must be on.

Anonymous, 28 May 2015I stayed with KitKat because I read a lot of comments that ... moreYou are so right, the Lollipop colours are dreadful, and I don't know why Samsung settled on that garish orange colour for the messaging app, it makes your eyes water. In the end I installed Nova launcher to go back to eye pleasing colours, and Chomp SMS to give my eyes a rest.

Do you have an official Samsung battery in your phone? It should say 'Near Field Communication' underneath the Samsung logo.

My i9505 NFC is not working with any phone. But it shows that hardware is ok and turned on. Is it may be due to the encoding format which we can choose from?? I have tried them all but no luck. Any suggestions??
