i have this phone. it is a good phone. but i bought it for one of the main resons because it said it had a radio. but it does not have a radion.
to put the phone on silent went you just slide it up, you press the top soft key.
it is a good phone to buy for one of our kids first time phones as it is raletively shock proof.
but for everyday use this phone is not good for that.
as it is not that good quality.
but i would rate it a 2/5

how can i make my mp3 tone my message alert tone???its been really a big question for me coz i have a friend who has the same fone but her message alert tone is an mp3 tone which she accidentally made...can someone help me do this???

I clicked on the global d/l centre, and found my phone (j750), it then took me to this link http://www.samsung.com/download/Model_Select.aspx?type=Mobile+Phone&typecode=18&subtype=Mobile+Phone&subtypecode=1805&model=SGH-D500&filetype=SW&language=
I removed all other stuff from my puter, including the USB cable and phone.. Then I installed the USB driver 1st, then the PC Studio )which I got from the last link), I then plugged the USB cable and phone in, PC found the new hardware, found the files and connected to PC Studio.. To add music you go to the Multimedia Manager, then I chose to view my phone from the top right corner, searched for my sd card, then looked for music on my PC, and drag/ dropped waalaa..

I also recently bought this phone for my daughter. I can not get pc studio to connect to it. I have emailed Samsung and complained due to not USB cable provided or software. Because of this we have been forced to slowly bluetooth every damn song from my phone to hers and then she transfers it to her micro sd card. If anyone knows of a compatable version to transfer music from my PC via USB to this phone can you PLEASE share

hi any idea how to senf games from the pc to the mobile...coz it doesnt let me. wat type of games are compatible with it? and how can i get a code to unlock the software preventing me from sending games onto it? pls!

first of all...for anyone thinking of buying this phone---> think again...i really regret buying it...i mean the specs loooked fantastic in theory but man, wen u start using it, ull hate it...the interface is reallly slow and even typing a message takes long. the screen is quite small, and not of very good image quality (ive got better on my old sharp gx25), 1.3 megapixel camera is not much wen compared to the technology available nowadays. so unless you have money to waste or unless they give u this mobile for free...pls do yourself a favour and run for your life!! Btw this phone is also useful if 3g internet and video calling is cheap in your country...in mine its way too expensive to use! A big sorrry to all the people out there who have purchased this phone already...and who are not happy with it like me...All i can say is...next time ill buy a NOkIA. no doubt about that!!

Halo people i had samsung j750 it was good phone was 3g and had front video camera i didnt know how 2 swich front camera or change a skin colour was black and white only now i have sams j700 and it not 3g and hasnt got video call but it similar to j750 and no trouble i like the look of j700 and i unlock can use any network they are great phones both of them

Install the driver on XP first! and copy the usb driver into a flash drive, from C:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung PC Studio 3\USB Drivers ,then run Vista and inatall the drivers!! it works 100%

Katrina it should come up with an automatic imstallation, you click on 'yes, this time only ' when it pops up when you connect this phone. I hope this helps
And no i did not receive earphones for this phone. My opinion is that this phone is NOT worth getting. Run and run now ppls
