I was looking at buying the Samsung J750, but i was curious to whether you are able to put MP3 music as a ringtone as easily as you can on other phones or is it more difficult

If all you want/need is a basic phone to make & receive calls, take some happy snaps and listen to MP3's - it's great.
Read the manual supplied via this site (all you dump dingo dropping), and 95% of your questions will be answered !!!

phone does not have a FM radio, lousy
the interface is ok though but sasung's removed too many things, look at the J700/M620 for phones in the same price range minus the 3G capabiity

just got one of this and so far i like every part of it except for a black and white grid menu. But thats tolerable and not so big deal for me. 3G, bluetooth and card slot had been a very useful..
i also wish it has fm too.. :)

Anonymous, 22 Jul 2008my suggestion is stop using it as usb modem..simple!!!I have been trying to connect the USB modem which my pc register it as modem 0.1. I have disk but still fails.

I've tried to assign a MP3 on my Memorycard as a contact ringtone, but the handset then copies it to the phone memory, and afterwards it's full. Is there a setting to force it to use the Mp3 where it is currently. Also is there a way to save bluetoothed files directly to the memory card instead of the phone memory?

Why do a Windows XP Proffesional PC reboots
after a while when using the phone as a usb modem?
Any suggestions on fixing the problem?
A firmware update from Samsung SA did not resolved the problem.
