Hi folks,
Just got L700 a fortnight ago...good fone. Read a lot of opinions b4 buying it. A lot of problems mentioned by the users can be solved by just getting used to the fone. I am very much impressed by the handset at such a lower price.
However, the flip side of this mobile is that it is a little bulky bcoz of its metal body...but then u get used to it after sometime. The Java applications don't run on this mobile. I would be very pleased if anyone guides me thru. The flash light is only for taking pictures and can't be used as a torchlight.
Overall a good phone!

Friends, I have been using Samsung L700, since about a fortnight. My experience with it is wonderful.
My only query is that at the time of adding a new contact (an international contact) we need to put a + sign to the area code / country code and then the persons mobile number. Here I am not able to get the + sign at all in prefix, that too even after choosing the numeric options and symbols option.
Anybody, Please help me as of now with thus query.

Can i have the current phone price for this model? Original set and AP set? It is because i got it free from maxis which i signed up for VALUE 150 plan (24 months). I found this phone is not as user friendly as Nokia and because of this, i am going to sell it off.

The problems
# Phone Hangs very often, you try to cut the call, and it wont respond.
# The back which looks like metal, gets scratched so easily.
# Camera is of poor quality.
# Cant trust the brand anymore.
