Actually Fasial, the first Siemens Phone with an MP3 player was the SL45, followed by the SL45i which was followed suit by the SL42

I can't believe that this was the 1st Samsung phone with an MP3 Player built inside it! The other retro phone with an MP3 player inside was a Siemens SL42, I think.

Hey Andi!siemens sl45i was announced in 2001 but samsung M100 was announced in 2000! so samsung is the real pioneer!DONT PLAY WITH SAMSUNG! ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i remember when this phone came out back in 2002 i think, the price was wayyy expensive like 500 to 600 pounds simfree...

who said that samsung is a pioneer in everything is wrong...Siemens did a mp3 phone in 2000 much much nicer SL45 with memory card so Siemens is a real pioneer.

although I'm very strict at judging a phone, I really want to say that THIS is a masterpiece and I could trade it for my sony ericsson k700i (but not with my k800 that I am going to get in 2 weeks!).

you dosent need other software.the software shipped with the phone itself can be used to connect the mobile to the pc.the software is compatible with the win98/me/2000/xp.

this is having a cable to connect the computer.it is used to transfer the mp3 file.and this cable need to configured using the software to connect the mobile to computer.

hi dear friend i am from bulgaria and i had samsung m100 in one year ago. finding the cable is very hard. the cable must be concted on LPT/paralel/ port, other side is like the charger. seek in telefone services becouse in magazines is imposible to find it -- write to me on pavelari@abv.bg phone i the best

nice phone, 32 megs for music, pretty good for such an old device. anyway, if u want quality and mp3, at a resonable price SL45i ROCKS!!! the best phone i ever had ;)
