Yes it has recording option.While you are in call in the options menu you can find this record option

I liked the look of the handset and struggled to get it here in the UK so had it imported from Bangladesh, it is very nice it has a metal front and plastic back but the plastic back gives a leather look its very lightweight and slim but extremely well built, the battery life is perfect for me I can get a full week out of it making on average 2 hours a day phone calls and multiple texts, but its worth remembering its a phone for calls and texts nothing else it has a reasonable camera which will give you ok images but nothing really to get excited about, however it does have expandable storage but one thing with that is my handset will only except Sandisk memory cards and no other make which is not a problem but maybe something to be aware of if you do have issues. The keypad is nice buttons are very tactile and give a nice feel when pressed, audio is loud and clear, in call is also loud and clear, transferring files from pc to phone is easy just drag and drop into the relevant folders simple.
