can see the call duration in my cell by default.....
Individual sms can be deleted by tapping and holding..
Then select delete..

and abou... morei guess i must be the only guy here not complaining about this phones battery life !!!
with very little phone calls,few annoyin service provider incoming SMSs,few apps downloads & occasional SNS surfing...
today is the 4th day(almost finshed) since i have last charged my device & its still showing 20% left !!! :D
i know...its quite unbelievable...i am myself surprised too !!!
with similar mentioned usage on my Galaxy s-II i used to get only 1-1.5 days of battery backup...this device is amzing !!! :)
[ ps - all above is with battery saver mode on,still...its amzing rite !!! ;) ]

i think we can send multiple messages ..one of my frnd have lumia and he is able to send (both have same platform Mango)..so you want to say that this is particular with Omnia ..can some one plz check on this.

ishraj, 09 Mar 2012i think in 2G you can send to multiple contact by creating groupCreating contact group every time is not a good option.
Even the most basic phones have this feature..
Atleast with mango microsoft should have addressed this.
Now we have to wait for tango update....Hopefully it arrives by then....
This phone has hiccups in its SMS feature which is the most widely used feature of any phone...Microsoft focused too much on facebook.

rahul, 08 Mar 2012is there really a sms bug in omnia w....or it's just a rumo... more@Rahul: Yes the sms defect is there when u turn ON the 3G, the sms will not go so you have to try 3 or 4 times to send a sms. Microsoft says these defects will be taken care in next update.

anoop, 06 Mar 2012I take this phone last week.one problem I facing is battery... moreme also only 7 hrs on heavy usage in 3g and wifi.
and about 14 hrs with normal use in 2g.
and 30 hrs without data

Bugs/Features not supported
1) 3g Sms bug.( workaround by setting network profile to 2g only)
2) Network switch issues from 3g to 2g which leads to zero signal strength.( workaround by setting network profile to 2g only)
3) No Hindi font/ Bing india maps due to lack of India localizations for India.
4) Cannot send sms to multiple contacts.
5) No call duration facility.
6) Cannot delete individual SMS in threaded view..
7) Very poor Mp3 ringtone support.
8)No search option existing to search within internet explorer.(A workaround exists for this).
please add to this list..So that we may know whether the tango update resolves any of the above...
Also suggest any workaround or solutions.

hi this link "http://techzoom.org/samsung-omnia-w-i8350-review-specs-and-price/" says that it some bugs like 1)720p movie playback creates audio sync issues 2)and WI-FI connecting issue 3) Also it does not have Swype (but i have seen some video where it give words as in swype).
can someone plz check and update on this ..thank for the help

& if u r talkin about Nokias ongoing updates then i hope u know their so called updates are actually "bug fixes"(bttery,call ending etc.) by Nokia itself & they aint 'Windows' related.
Omnia is bug free device mate :) & whenevr windows will release their update then samsung will provide us with it.
