On-screen keyboard. Fixes an issue to prevent the keyboard from disappearing during typing.
Email. Fixes a Google mail syncing issue.
Location. Fixes a location access issue. With this fix, the Me feature in the People Hub sends anonymous information about nearby Wi-Fi access points and cell towers to Microsoft only if you agree to allow the Check In function to access and use location information.
Security. Revokes digital certificates from DigiCert Sdn Bhd to address an encryption issue.
Email threads. Fixes an email issue related to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. With this fix, when you reply to or forward a message, the original message is now included in your response.
Voicemail. Fixes a voicemail notification display issue that occurs on some European and Asian networks under certain conditions.

Hi Omnia W users, There are a few basi things missing in this phone do u have any answers on how to enable them...
1.There is NO total calls duration option,which helps us in knowing the talk time after a battery charge.
2.Reject call with SMS not there.
3.Talking caller-id not available.
4.Market place doesnot have any apps. related to this.
Basics went missing, whats your opinion-any solutions pl. share...ThanQs.

Folks, I would like to give a quick review on this comparing to my previous Samsung Galaxy SL i9003.
Initially I hestiated to come out of Android as I am much used/familer to it, but the fact is the android phone does not have good smooth interface where as windows give smooth interface than iphone/android. Performance of this phone is really excellent, interface is beautiful and rapid fast while connecting to Wifi networks. When compare my previus galaxy sl, this very fast and no hanging issue even after installation several apps. Multitasking is really good and easy. Many says that in windows phone there are no much apps when compare to android phone but the actual fact is in android there are millions of apps but most of the apps are not in usable shape and most of them are crap and malware but in windows all the essential apps which are required for smartphones are there like facebook, twitter, IM+, Linkedin, outlook, google mail, moneycontrol,youtube, wikipedia, youtube, photo editors etc etc. When comparing to battery which is really good and when I keep the phone in power saver mode it lasts for one full day. Those who are looking for budget smartphones with the value for money in windows can blindly buy this samsung omnia w. This is the time for windows phones

Today morning received a notification on my phone for update of the OS. Does anyone knows what is the new feature/enhancement/defect fix on the new update?
Currently I am using mango 7.5 and Current OS version is:7.10.7720.68 and if anyone updated kindly let me know the new update OS version and features if any?..Thanks in advance.

Can Omnia I8350 be upgraded to Windows 8 Tango when it arrives? Is Windows 8 likely to fix the SMS bug?

There is no option of "ease of access" in settings to activate talking caller-id in Omnia W, can anyone tell how to get this feature.

I need to correct you with regards to have no external memory slot. One of the prime factors is security not virus.
Imagine you have tonnes of data in your 32 GB external memory card,personal data etc...You have your mobile password protected...You lose your mobile... The person having your mobile has complete access to your 32 Gb of data because it is external and removable...
Eventhoguh you password protect your phone the expandable memory card will reveal everything to the person having your phone...
In case of Windows mobile or Iphone ...If your phone is password protected access to your valuable data is next to impossible ;)

If you have a memory card slot, then definitely you will remove the card and connect it with Card reader to transfer contents, assume if you have virus in your PC then when you insert your memory card back to your mobile, your handset will become unstable and goes down. Both Microsoft and Apple doesn't want their handset to suffer from virus. That's the reason Apple sells iPhone in categories of 8GB,16GB,32GB,etc.
There is a reason behind their design! And again no comparison with Android, can compare only with iPhone.

AnonD-45427, 07 Mar 2012Tell me what samsung had update or going to update..??Even Nokia or Samsung, but won't act in updating the software as the OS completely depends on the hands of Microsoft, if they release an update and if your handset is connected to internet, you will automatically receive updates or when you sync with Zune, it also finds out updates for your device.
All people in Samsung Service Center are aware of the sms bug, they are very fond to clear the bug in the near future. Lets hope for the best soon.

When sms is concerned, all your messages are stored in a thread format, in which when you have many conversation from single person, all are shown in single thread... There is no much settings for messages, I haven't tested that aspect in depth, let me find it out soon!
