1. can this galaxy tab can download:
- you tube downloader?
- mp3 player?
- and some downloadable applications?

I have both iphone 4 and Galaxy Tab. The stability and reliability of the the IOS is far better than the Android. I have done factory reset for the Galaxy 2 times during the purchase period (two weeks). yesterday I got a wifi connection problem. the device some access points and trying to connect to the recognized access points, but can't connect. I did factory reset, but still not solved. I will take it to agent.
The Android needs time to overcome all the problems. I remember IOS had problems during iphone 2G time.

i just want to know if this P1000 tab can really make a phone call like a regular cell phone, i wanted to get one and get sprint as my carrier.

For people like me, who use Linux on my desktop at home and at work, the Android tablets are excellent!

When I first saw this i liked it alot (Still though) as i thought it would successfully replace a laptop but it can't for the following reason/s:
1) It doesn't open EXE files. I'd like to have a laptop that is a screen only and opens EXE files.
2) Some programs needs a minimum 1024x768 screen resolution which this mobile doesn't offer.
3) Slow as a laptop replacement.,. After the release of the Tegra processor that is dual core, this thing should contain one of these. Even Ipad doesn't open EXE files, so why it's a "PC Tablet"? O, please!
I'd really buy a tablet instead of a laptop if such things were there...

hey guys i m using it and would u belive that it has no issues.its battery backup is amazing i can watch full 8 hrs video with a full single recharge.its processing is very fast.its a wonderfull experience of watching full hd video on it. at the end i would like to say its a totally paisa vasool set.

It would be great if every phone with "scratch-resistant" display had that expression in the specs, so if one searches for that expression, all of them would be listed. like iphone 4 and some others. Thanks.

On a whole average one, I will say. In the gsmarena specification I found 28h talk-time in 2G network bt I dont even get 5h net use. Display in not as good as Wave or Galaxy S. I will rate 6 out of 10.
A problem that i had is it getting heated on Right side of the TAB bt not the left side. does any one else has the same problem
