awesome device..... very good battery, i checked the talktime myself, over a bluetooth headset i cud talk over 18 hours and read ebooks...then too the battery lasted for 48 hours....!!!! amazing. even the 3 mpx cam is very good. i love it.

Please don’t buy any costly Samsung mobiles. They are interested only in introducing new (useless) mobiles every day. Their after-sale service is very poor. I met a minor (?) problem with my Omnia II (GT-I8000) in India. Its audio jack failed to function properly. Many times it routed the audio to headset on its own. I gave it to the service centre and waiting for the phone for more than three months. Service centre people have so many useless answers but have not given my phone back. I have contacted samsung officials from Delhi to Chennai to Puducherry to......service manager... technicians... but in vain. I am ashamed of Samsung, its after-sale service, customer care....Irresponsible Cheaters.... I may have bought a new mobile for the expenditures I met for making calls and visiting service centre.
I have ever seen so many unsatisfied customers in queues in their customer service stations.
Please don't buy Samsung mobiles

bamboo, 19 Jan 2011you can used the front camera for video calling if your usi... moreI can use only for 3g simcard but not yahoo messenger as it works with the back camera... I also installed Tango and it works for front facing camera but the quality is not pretty good...

It's really an iPhone and iPad killer. I just traded my iPhone 4 with a black Galaxy Tab... Imagine, free applications! Angry Bird is free... Docs is free... I need not imagine anymore, it's an experience dude!

i have been using this ph past 4 weeks, it hangs,they have replacement 2 ph,but both the ph's had same issue ph hangs, while switching the camera,i have asked samsung the refund my money....i am been a very bad experience....
please let me know if any one facing same issue...

krul, 22 Jan 2011can u compare surfing internet using iphone n galaxy tab?? ... moreI bought it and try it for 3 days. I liked it a lot but I gave it back.... After considering it with calm I will buy the Samsung Tablet again..... I miss it.. There are some things that I like more from the Ipad ( I fell better response on the Ipad-Ipod). I do not like the size of the Ipad, for me it is too big. I like a lot the size of the Samsung tab.... You can surf the internet better with the Samsung than with the Ipad.... The Samsung Tab is really good for viewing videos and for reading.... the usb connection is superb, you can store in the tablet whatever you want and take it with you.... Defently I will buy for keeping it next monday.... It also has the function that mekes it work as an access point, so if you need to use your computer for an specific topic, this tablet will provide you the internet connection....It is usefull the tyablet to be also a phone (ipa does not give you this)... The tablet is also a TV son you can see open TV on it... Excelent gadget that will make be away from your laptop and what is better, far away from the fu...ing blackberry

After using it for more than two months i can say its a pretty smart device with the abilities to get half of your time reduced sitting infront of a PC.I have been a great symbian and apple fan but Android is awesome.Very powerful synchronizing sense and pleasantly entertaining interface. Its size feels quite awkward in the beginning but then one gets used to it ;) ... definitely needs some basic accessories like a bluetooth headset, a good case and a keyboard (if you compromise the price over comfort) ... would not recommend to those who are going to buy a laptop and considering it to do the same job ... opensource android market is like a surprise gift, those who pay for winmo and symbian can guess what i am talking about ...

But the Tab is not the same as a laptop. You will quickly discover there are so many things that the Tab will definitely not be able to do and so you will need a laptop. For instance don't expect it to do Photoshop, AutoCAD, Video editing, intensive Excel or Project if these are your areas. The two are definitely complimentary but I will suggest you get a fairly decent laptop first. Don't forget that the Tab and all other similar stuffs will keep getting better considering that they are still in their first generation.
