And its awsome . . . I like call it mobile laptop smart phone
noo need of laptop . . . Display and battry Nd oprating system are gr8. . . . Little expensive but i like to say if anyone going to buy ipad plz plz go for samsung tabb. . . . Its killed ipad complitly in india. . . . . If i have any disappointment its size. . . . Other ways No matter its tablet pc yaar

Just bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab and as a new owner (and a newcomer to Android as well), I must say that it has been everything thats advertised.
My father has an iPad so I have had extensive hands on use iwth it as well, but I have to admit that the Galaxy Tab and Android in general is great. The Tab's feature set is more expansive than the iPad and the Android Market is right there with Apple.
Only 2 things I noticed though, a lot of apps are not yet optmized for the 7" screen of the Galaxy Tab, and having that 1GHz CPU really drains the battery fast.
This Christmas, I also upgraded from a Nokia E63 to a Nokia E71 and traded my BB Curve 8520 for a BB Torch 9800. I'm pretty happy with my new smart phones too and I'm glad I've stayed away from the temptation of the overpriced Apple.
The last piece of Apple equipment that I own (aside from my MacBook)is my 3rd gen 32 GB iPod Touch, which I am now giving to my daughter. Now that I've got my Tab, i don't need it anymore :)
Congrats to all owners of the Tab, you've all made good purchases!!!
Next up for me is to upgrade my 2006 White MacBook to a 2010 MacBook Pro.

all features are good but no f.m and 3 m.p cam{5m.p cam may be better than that}

Good Device great capabilities
NO UPGRADE from 2.2 version (in India) option - very sad
Google browser & vid player not good - hanging problems

Do some research . The iPad 3G does have a sim card slot and you can make calls on it by using the sim card from your iPhone . What is with you people?. Why is it so terrible to use the galaxy or iPad to make a phone call? If you need to call someone why does it matter what size your phone is.? Is your self esteem so shallow that you are afraid that people will look at your big phone and laugh . So what , it is about the call. Get a life.

The battery life of the galaxy is terrible I bought one and brought it back had to charge it twice a day. Bought the iPad and my battery life is about 13.5 hours . Wow! Never need to charge it during the day. And the apps for the android are terrible there isn't a single music ( instrument ,piano guitar etc. ) app worth a cent. The apps for the ipad are incredible , so mamy and so professional, just great. Not sorry I returned the galaxy to exchange for the iPad . The galaxy tab is a nice device it has it's place. There is room in the martket for both devices, it just was not for me.

Nokia user said if you go to URL www.google .com it takes 8 seconds to display . Well I tested it and it takes Less than a second , On my brighthouse cable connection. He must be using a dial up connection.
