but i have one problem, i live in Saudi Arabia and i own Galaxy Tab 2.2 and when i first got it there was no Market i had to take it to shop to install it for me if i update to 2.3 will i lose the market and if i did how can i got it back, you see without the market the device is dead for me

I noticed this tab don't have 3*4 keyboard, can please anybody tell me how to put 3*4 keyboard(alphanumeric keyboard, like nokia's phone)

If you wanna save batter of TAB
check task manager, In active application close unused application
and RAM manager clear level 1 and level 2 ram memory, its clear the ram and save some battery of this device

I just got my galaxy tab P1000 a... moreI used for a month, its a great device, here some tips to save better and airtime,
GO setting > Display setting > put on power saving mode
and put screen timeout low as u like, and also put minimal brightness
For save some background internet data
Go setting > wireless and network > mobile network > uncheck Use packet data
Setting > account and sync > uncheck Background data
When you don't need 3G internet put your tab on flight mode, its also save some battery

Dear friends. I had a problem with my Galaxy Tab recently. Battery run fast, freezing, cannot power on, not responsive etc.
But after I brought to Samsung for a firmware update, it is working well now. You guys should try doing that. Do not attempt to update on your own. Best to bring it to Samsung to do.
Heard that Gingerbread is out. Yet to try it out.

I think the newest Rom which will solve most of the galaxy tab's problems is P1000JPJM5.Try it and your tab would work normaly,specially it helps the battery power loss.

1.just go to setting and wireless& network then down remove mark mobile network and for more 2.go to same setting as you did and account &sync remove mark backgrund data and autosync 3.go to settning then location remove mark use wireless, back to main screen now you done all.you can remove every unknown applications by go to setting and do unistall them in manage applications .I hope is not too late for save your money.:) good luke

I just got my galaxy tab P1000 and with all the opened applications, it charges me and I end up with no airtime.
Pls how do I close the applications that automatically logs onto the internet, so that I can save my airtime?

this is a very good smart tablet phone. it makes you to be online 24/7 using Wifi or gprs. it does virtually everything you can think for a smartphone. thanks to the android apps. this phone is really the present generation type of smartphone. you cannot afford to miss buying one to confirm what i mean... this really a second choice after ipads.
