About battery life:
I tought I would let you know. Since my last post here dated 2006-03-09 15:20 (scroll down) I have charged the phone twice.. this should tell you a lot, especially if you put in the middle 2 business trips and about 50 photos. Right now, I still have roughly 50% battery remaining.
Just do the math, in case you're worried about battery life.

to answer a few messages: i purchased my phone for $600. in regards to upstate new york. if your sim card is locked to the cingular network and they are using 850MHz spectrum in your area, you will have a problem since it allows you to select 1900MHz or 900MHz/1800MHz. the pictures are deceiving, it doesn't look like a calculator in real life and it is metal not plastic. the menus, camera, sms, mms, video recording are all excellent. the web browsing is a bit slow. the calendar is good but nokia is better.
i thought these message boards were meant to help each other out rather than post useless comments. i hope others find this helpful. thank you.

I live in upstate new york and I was wondering if I can even use this phone. I really want one, but Cingular (my provider) could not tell me if it would work for me or not. Please help. Also, does it have a spot for a sim card?
Thanks..

I think your just looking for negatives, there are none when you consider it's size and how much they manages to cram into it.

Hi folks. Somebody can help me? Im really seduced by this phone but last experience i made with samsung was tha all recent samsung phones have the same problem. It is following software problem. When u sent an sms, the number of the receiver is safed in a submenu called last message recievers. And the content of this menu cannot be erased. So all the numbers you ever did send a message will be kept in that menu. Does anybody have the same problem with the P300? Tnx guys.

Well i ordered mine :D and i'm really looking forward to it.
TBH it looks more like a PCIMA card over a calculator, but i'm sure you'll all be eating your own hats when it actually gets on board the networks test it and then host the phone.

I consulted this forum before choosing what phone to buy and noticed a lot of bad comments (mainly on phone design) from people who never event touched the phone. On the other hand I read good comments from users of the phone. It was a good rule of thumb and I bought the phone.
It's a truly good phone, excellent for business users in my opinion. The loud speaker makes it realy hands free, together with its mp3 player, voice recorder (1 hour), good camera and video recorder, it really makes it a good companion besides the standard phoning experience. I am used with Blackberry for years (I still use it), so I *demand* long battery life and I am so far more than pleased with it on the P300.
If you need a good phone, give this a try in the shop, ask for your favorite functions (I use mainly Phone/Alarm/SMS/loud speaker/watch(!)/camera (just in case i se a UFO) ).
