I have now solved the problem below..if anyone has the same problem then go to http://uk.samsungmobile.com/sg/otapage.jsp and you can send the settings for the P300 to your phone, which seem to work on the P310.

I am on the O2 network in the UK and I cannot operate MMS and WAP with this handset. I am on Pay & Go and have used the settings which O2 have emailed me, but they do not work. Anyone got the correct settings? Thanks...Ben

Hello there...The phone works 1-2 days without the case and up to 9 days with the leather case. You really shouldn't worry about the battery life, it's from far the best. Just watch out, first thing, let the phone charge for the first straight 16h. buh-byee

Mute incoming calls instead of rejecting:
                    > Settings
                    > No. 2 Phone Settings
                    > No. 6 Volume Key
                    Set to Mute.

                    Simple.

For the person asking about caller id not coming up- I had this problem once with a phone, when I had saved the same number twice, under two near-to-identical names- when someone calls, the phone doesnt know which name to print, so just prints the number.
For the guy who wants to mute the incoming calls- the volume button on the right hand side can be set to mute or reject a call.

Hi! Is it possible to store your received/sent SMS' in something like an archive, so you can keep them forever?
                                Thanks and greets!

For the last time check through the post and look for the link I have to the tone. When you go to the page scroll down and you wil see

                                      ringandvibrate22222.mmf

                                      size: 250.00 b, downloads: 32

you will see a timer that starts at around 30 secs. wait for timer to finish then you can download the loud tone. It's very samll text but you will find it as theres not too much text on the site. Look and you will find it.

SO...had the phone for almost a month now and can give a much better review.

First of all...this is my back-up/weekend phone. I use an 8525 during the week, although the P310 is starting to see more pocket time these days :)

The phone is super stylish...gets attention for sure. It's the best looking phone I have ever seen. Battery life out of the case is about a day...give or take...depending on use. Not great...but not the end of the world either. Add the case and it's surprisingly strong.

I like the camera quite a bit...easy to use and it has a fun bunch of features. I carry a Canon mini camera anyway, so my phone is used mainly for messaging purposes anyway.

My only grip to this point is the signal quality. As compared to my 8525...the P310 suffers in areas that are generally not the best for signal. I can hold calls with my 8525 that now get dropped with my P310. When in a good area, all is well...luckily that is mostly the case where I live. But I do wish reception was a bit stronger as some of those trouble spots are giving my P310 fits.

So all in all, for what I use it for which is basically phone and texting (music will be next)...I am VERY satisfied.

                                        RIDE
