hey i like the look of this phone, but anybody can help me that is this phone good with cingular service? b/c cingular works on 850 and this phone starts from 900......help me.....

ps Goldie no skins or themes, but the black looks so good and the white reminds me of the mac look, very clean

wallpaper is 320x240
zedge.com has loads of hi-res wallpapers it free to join and download. just choose free wallpapers and then your phone from the phone select drop down menu.
also you can use animated gifs as wallpaper. Just find your gif then resize it at http://www.gifworks.com/ (when you upload your gif go to resize and un-tick the "Constrain Proportions" box. then once you resize right click an save. some are better than others, just trial and error

+ The phone looks beautiful
+ Has almost all the features except FM radio
+ Leather case is very sexy
+Menu is a bit confusing.
Can somebody helpme regarding following points:
(1) Wall paper is not shown in full view (streached)
(2) can i get themes for this phone from any website

Damn slow response from those soft keys!!! Very slow response from the camera too!!! Ring tone & vibration way too soft!!!

I think if you were to read " se23's" comments you would find that he is a keen supporter of the Samsung P310 and his statements are all positive (and that’s from a Panasonic dude).

Samsung = rubbish
I work for panasonic actually, and I change my phone as often as I change my shirt. I worked in mobile industry for many years, and only moved to panasonic cos of a good offer. I know my stuff when it comes to phones. and one other thing I like to be different and I like style this phone has both. and please guys im not bragging but I have a vertu and an 8800 and this phone beats both on style and what it can do. vertu is junk. 8800 with a2dp profile... it dont even work. This samsung just.....WORKS!

I have been using this phone for a few days now and I really like it:
+ In terms of design it's a matter of taste, personnally I love it and I only received positive comments about it!
+ The battery is much better than anticipated (I didn't even use the additional battery in the leather case yet).
+ The touchpad is super easy to use, after I read the article on gsmarena I was afraid it would be a pain but I am actually very satisfied with it.
+ Overall the ergonomy of the phone is pretty good, and it is functionally well equipped.
+ The symchronization with Outlook is very nice and works perfectly.
+ The screen quality is superb. Same goes for the speaker.
- The camera although it's a 2MP isn't top quality. The lack of autofocus and the slow shutter generate many blurry pictures.
- The lack of vibrate+ring can be annoying for some people. But this can be fixed using vibrating ringtones like the one se23 posted which is the one I am using (thanks ;).

Im for free speach and all but this phone is cool and easy to use and hold.

Such an uncomfortable 'phone' to hold & use.......what a piece of junk???!!!
Samsung really don't make anything good......from phones to camera to TV to cars(for Korea only).......all rubbish(my opinion as a consumer/user)!

I got this phone a months ago i use in USA with Cingular. The works great clarity is good no problems, looks are awesome syncs good with outlook. I cannot set up internet called cingular they are no good. Does anyone know how to set up internet?
