To those of you out there worried about scratching the back of the phone, and not wanting to take the dreaded step of 'brushing' it, I have an easier solution- I have used a strip of packing tape!! The wide stuff, like clear duct tape- It works a treat! Its just the correct width and with some careful playing around, goes on perfectly and you cant see it! and most importantly protects from scratches!

Its a nice phone. It is OK for those where size matters. Other wise, the negative points are below :
The worst is battery life. 6 hours talk time and 300 hours standby as advertise here is over stating it. Without the additional in-built battery in the leather case, normal usage does not last me more than 2 days and if I play with the phone a lot more, the battery won't last a day. If you use the leather casing, it may last longer but then it defeats the purpose of having a slim phone, isnt it.
To send SMS requires extra steps as you have to tick from the contact list who you want to send to and then to select them into the "send" mode. This is OK for sending to multiple receipients, but for most cases, there should be a shortcut approach for sending quickly to a single receipient.

Hi dp I tried to make the vibe more intense on those tones but it still the same. Thanks tho Im using number2 nice and loud vibrate not to bad. Thanks again mate

Great tidy, elegant and beautifully designed phone. Been waiting for 5 months for this phone since the P300 (still like some features on that such as the flashing keys). Resolution is brilliant, and the leather case just finishes it off professionally looking. Both phone and leather case can be heavy due to 2 batteries, and the memory allocated for message inbox is poor (20 messages - wtf?). Maybe I just don't understand that bit yet. You can do vibrate then melody, but not at the same time, which is a bugger. Loudest is still quite low, but performance on a whole is good. Just for design alone, well worth the dosh :-)

Hi guy's, just wanted to know if anybodys battery life has improved? mine used to last 1 day max when I first got it with moderate use. But now it last's 2 days with bluetooth always on with moderate use!!!!! I never over charge, always wait till battery almost dead and I charged it for 12 hours first time iused it....?
ps im talkin just the phone battery. I dont carry the case anymore

Guys, The charlatons I bought my P310 from didn't indlude a battery with it, so have been living off the case battery- and now (typical ebay) they wont reply to any of my emails!!! Am lookng to buy one off the net but does anyone know if the P300 battery is the same as the one for the p310, as they seem a lot lot cheaper!! Any advice on this????
And sorry, but I know sweet fa about MMS settings, so I wont be taking your beer I'm afraid!

I’ve just sent you the Loudest Ringer I could possibly make - could you have a look and see if you can keep the volume and increase the vibration intensity??

Hi Guys
When setting the P310 up for the UK - you can use the settings for the Samsung E900 from you Network Provider's site. Seems to work fine.

My 2 Problems:
I am about 90% there now but need a bit of help on the following:
1) When I send a MMS to any network all is fine but every time I receive a MMS it is only 4k in size even if i save it. this is or all MMSs from any phone or network.
I am total stumped - my network provider is O2 and they say everything is fine on my account??!?!?
2) I carn't get the POP3 email thing working - I have tryed differnt email accounts but it just says "connecting" then times out after 2mins??!?!? stumped again!?!?
* If you can solve any of my 2 remaining problems I will buy you a beer!!
