im thinking of upgrading to this from my Nokia 6280 and the main thing i wanna know is if I have mp3 as a ringing tone can i get it to vibrate at the same time wheen i get a call or text?

I'm sorry GSM Arena - but your review of the P310 presents many inaccuracies, such as 60 minutes talk time. WTF? Also, the games have to be PURCHASED, which is not mentioned. Also the keypad is not hard to use, even for me with stubby fingers. The layout is different, but like all things, you'll come to it in a week, which presumably they never had the phone for that long.
The SIM card can be removed without the need to take the battery out. Not sure on Memory card as that's next to it. It may just slightly be lower.
I think the review needs to be revised substantially, with an English variant this time. I've never been a Samsung user, and it's taken time to adjust, but it will happen, and is happening. Your backlight on the phone is wrong, which does look uneven. That doesn't happen on mine, and the screen resolution doesn't do this phone justice which you have presented, It maybe that the phone you have is a dodgy offshore whacked out variant, where you even said you couldn't test the camera. I'd suggest you do this review again.

Okay, I'm seeing a lot of negative comments about the battery. This can only be for one reason - you never stuck it on charge for the first straight 16hours. I have just this second stuck it on charge since last Tuesday 20/02. Its now 01/03. I have bought games, updated phonebook, got to know whole entire phone and its capabilities and it has taken a whopping 9 days to come to the end of its battery life using both the case and phone.
Touch pad is more of a nuisance than the E900, and sound is isn't great still. Have to purchase games, which is a nuisance, but message sending is a nuisance. Everything else is sheer class. I reiterate the design of this phone is second to none. Everyone wants to grab it and look at it.
Anyway - make sure you charge that battery initially!

I read on the gsmarena review that you can set the calender as a background on the wallpaper, but cant figure out how to do this- has anyone done this?? If so, how??

Hi guys, the opinions are all helpful. Im debating between this phone and the Nokia 6300. I really like the style of this phone, but I want a phone that ha astrong bluetooth connection because my car has bluetooth. My last phone (Sony Ericson K700) always used to lose connection with the car bluetooth. But my Nokia is phenomenal. Anyone have anything to say about the bluetooth?
Also what is with the deal with the lack of a vibrating ring?

It's a plain ringer by dp5001 and made louder by me. Hope this helps

The mobile is first class style but the annoing part is that no vibrate ringing tone. So please do mail me the vibrate ringing tone by mail.

if i charge the device over night with the case batt installed and then remove the case batt and carry just the phone with me.. it lasts only 1 day. when i charge the phone alone (without case batt) it lasts me 2 days. i get around 3 days + with phone+case batt at the same time but have only tried this once.. im content to keep just the phone with me and have it work for 2 days. coming from pocketpc phone devices since the last several years, 2 days is luxory :D

anyone who says that this phones battery is not enough liesss...
6 days... it takes 5 or 6 days standby with cover.
This is the most classy business phone me and my friends ever seen.
If you're not a teenager, if you're not a girl and if you dont like toy-phones then you have to buy this phone. You wont regret it :)

Also to all guys thinking of getting this phone...I had samsungs before and I dont play and customize my phones anymore, I got this phone purley because of style. I was a bit upset at first because of battery life and ringtones but my battery has got better I think its because I stuck to charging guide and I never overcharge. Also I put time into the ringtone problem cos that was my main gripe but Im happy with what me and others have done here (dp5001) regarding this problem. Sorry for the essay and hope this helps

It all depends what you want in a phone? and what phone do you use now? Its kind of 50/50. some love it some hate it. Me personally I love it. my uses are....
calls- excellent
camera & vid- Good
music with my bluetooth headphones- excellent
style- out of this world
ease of use- excellent
loud tones with vibe- Good
gprs browsing- Good and screen very sharp
Battery without case- 2days easy for me
cons- loudspeaker with mp3 not good but with movies I got on my 1gb card it is good
no ring vibe on mp3 tones and unless you find the best quality mp3 forget mp3 tones.
If you like the things I mentiond above then pp310 is for you.
