although an improvement over my previous P300, this P310(I have one) is still plain rubbish other than the look build quality!!!
Cons:-
Vibe & ring too soft. MP3 quality lousy. Uncomfortable to hold. When talking on the phone, it's so easy to have the numbers typed accidentally because this phone always press against ones face(flat & thin is the problem!)
Improvement over the P300:-
Louder & clearer sound from the ear piece. The battery last a little longer. Better camera. Better keys design. Reception stronger......
No matter how good it looks, I still hate my P310!!! It's just no good as a phone, PERIOD.

Ps when using the software- Load your midi- go to setting- then volume- set volume to about 300 then apply then ok- then go create smaf ( you will find smaf in the file drop down menu) chosse smaf40 chords- a box will appear- on the right of the box tick vib coup then ok. Save your tone and send it to phone. DONE

Just got this phone 2 days now. Very cool, I feel like james bond already, LOL. It's good apart from the battery dont last long bust still last me a 24hrs easy. To ring and vibrate you have to use mmf that have vibe activated. I know mmf a bit primative but hey it works.( http://webhome.idirect.com/~deank/psmplayer.htm ) This link will show you how. Cheers

I have just purchased P310 and i think this is the most stylish phone till date as. It has a corporate look and that is something that makes it stand out of the ordinary phones.Though, it lacks imp feature viz. Wi-Fi anyways, still it a must buy for all your elegant, classy phone lovers..

everything's great except i really don't know why samsung put that soft touch buttons on this thing.
a phone should have either all touch buttons or no touch buttons at all.
they make you leave smudge marks, aren't that functional.
yes, they look great (maybe), but i really think that they should've been normal buttons.

I think the problem is that there is No 'ring and vibrate' option - you can only have - 'ring' / 'vibrate' / 'ring then vibrate' - we just want the phone to do both at the same time so we dont miss a call!.

I got the fone P310 last week from Greenhils. It really nice though, but the downside is the soft touch its slow and sometime none reponsive. Also does not have software driver for Apple macbook.
Hope anyone there knows wer I can download the application software & drivers.

smashing....thats the impression when i physically saw the phone...what small size..a black beauty with screen that IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!.even the boot screen loos so colorful and crystal color.i convereted sum dvd songs and tranfered it on phone..awsum clarity..if only screen were little bigger..dont go by revies regarding small key size..i am giant myself..very comfy using themm.this phone exudes class..not for nokia lovers who lke to downlaod softwares etc..belive me ..i must have changed 10 mobiles..apart from O2 this one is highest i rate in terms of screen quality..amazing hwo did they fit so much on so less of space..so if u want class get it..

Merry New Year! lol - well it is for me coz Santa got me a P310 over here in the UK - the phone is from the E.U. Some where - I got it for £220 of eBay from a dude down South (would have paid up to £300) - well ive had it a week now and finally got it set up to work on O2 (UK contract) every service seems fine except that when I receive a MMS it is only 4k in size (not the 39k it was when it was compacted and sent from another phone. this is a bit of a pain and I have spent 2 days trying to sort this out with O2 on the phone and in the store - still no joy.
* If any one has ever resolved this problem on any phone please reply!!
- Anyway - the phone is very sleek and the build quality is very nice - it like Prada for geekz - I love it but I have never been a Samsung fan and find some things frustrating ie:-
1) will not ring and vibrate at same time
2) the soft keys are rubbish - slow and vague
3) head set does not ring so may you miss the call
4 )not the best standard ring tones
This is buy far the best looking/feeling phone i have ever had its just such a shame it is let down by a few silly annoying things!
Well im glad Ive got it now (was looking for 3months - waiting for O2 the release it) I have been told by may sources that this phone's release date for the UK has been withdrawn and will never make it into the shops here. it is a bit of a bugger coz all phone shops / network providers are reluctant to help you set it up / help when u have problem coz its not a UK phone.
well im off now to play with my phone! lol

It seems like a network issue to me. But anyways, have you tried putting '+' in front of that 11 digit number. Give it a try.

to the gentleman with the eleven digit problem, The problem isnt the P310 its your non standard network provider. The world usualy sticks to a 10 didgit numbering scheme. If you network provide has fiddled with the standard, dump him and change to a network provider who understands standards
