I just got the P310 and I'm having a problem with caller id - wondering if anyone can help. Apparently the phone doesn't recognize that (i) a 10-digit number and (ii) the same 10-digit number with a '1' in front are actually the same number. So when I save a number in the phone as a 10-digit number, then a text message will show up as the number with a '1' in front instead of the person's name. Vice versa, if I save the number in the phone as an 11-digit number with the '1' in front, then an incoming call will show up as the 10-digit number without the '1' instead of the caller's name. I bought the phone in Asia and I'm using it in the US on the Cingular network. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks!

The problems that I read about of this phone is where people are not knowing how to work it. All you samsung complainers...go get your motorolas and nokias...
They all trying to catch up with technology..just move on...let samsung and samsung fans keep progressing.

This phone is kickass. Samsung phones to me are truly the best. Every theyp of phone has its different style and what its good for.
Motorola use to be one of my preferred choices but they are too slow. They tried to keep the razr family aloive by coming out witht he Krazr...
If you like their phone be it. I just think samsung phones are just smarter. They are good for business and has a different sytle in how its used. So if it fits your personality then be it.
NO phone is perfect. I had a razr..supposedly suppose to be a high end phone..the battery sucks...and it is slow.
Samsung is just faster on technology. They have so many models to choose from. IS every mercedes model a good car. Hell no..
Do get it? Get the right one for you.

There is no fixed pin for bluetooth. just enter any digit; but the other person should also enter the same pin-that's all. you should not remember the pin. its for one time use only.

i really wonder how samsung models have attained second place among all the brands. these phones are only good cosmetically otherwise i would rate them the last in the competation. i have bought samsung different models thrice and have decided will never make a mistake 4th time. my preferences are nokias and motorolas. i don't even think about sams & SEs.

I have had this phone 1 week moving from a sony ericsson P910. Its fantastic a very good phone.No problems so far.Lots of features great music player, camera,display etc.I also bought a 2gb memory card to go with it. All other phones now seem much too bulky. Therefore i fully reccomend it.

Sam,r copy cats,intro blu tooth very last,now they never give MC with any set,plus no OS.Structure is always toyish only bcuz manufacture TFTs screen r bearable,otherwise resale is worst ad most of 50% of their models never marketed,typical korean mind.experimenting on highest MPs HDs Pdas but failures.D900 top of line finish is cracking ad unstable even MC compatability not stable nor u can rr ff the data when using it u have to transfer to fone which takes up memory,whats the use of MCs then.Sam think twice NOW!

Phone looks great. It may have serious problems with the media card slot, not been able to identify the card. I live in B'lore, India and shopkeeper advised not to buy.

Just bought the p310 from london .as my 3rd phone it is ok...my other 2 phones are se p990i and 8800sirroco lamborghini edition ...the p310 is the worst phone from these 3...anyone willing to buy it...think again

How long does the battery last without the extra battery? Normal usage.
