If you love to view some videos in big display better stick with tablet 7.7. Note II has many functions but the battery would be the issue, From 5000mAh to 3100mAh for sure the time for you to spend playing the device is decreased. For me, i owned a Samsung S2 and 7.7. I prefer to browse some videos in small but not too large screen. of course i can browse bigger display on my desktop but the issue here if i want to browse it on my bed, when outing with friends, etc.

Jelly Bean update is confirmed for Thailand, but no release date yet. That's what matters. We can flash the firmware ourselves anyway through Odin, with just one click. =)

This is definitely the best piece of technology I have ever bought. I used it as a tab to begin with but once I got a feel for it - its my phone as well. Bought a bluetooth ear piece (Jabra) and I was on my way. Loving it. You can do so much with this unit which only a combination of I-pad and i-phone can compete with. So why carry two when one can do the job. My uncle who is a big "Apple Fan " was amazed with the built quality, features and performance. He plans to buy one soon.

my 7.7 never lags its ics....im from phillippines, i used s2 then s3...im a reader...so this tab satisfies me....ipad so big...

This is an awsome tablet which i used ever..past 4 months i am using this without any lag....but last week i upgrade to ics...after that i felt there is some problem when i am usimg net over wifi....samsumg pls solve this problem ASAP.....pls pls plss....

Then download Odin software. Just search in google.
You can find. steps how to do it at xda-developers.com
Just go to that site then Forums Tab, then on search device look for galaxy tab 7.7
Its very easy and safe.

To everyone experiencing some stutters and lag when switching between home screens or when going through the app drawer, I suggest you download APEX LAUNCHER in the PlayStore, set is as the main launcher, then force close touchwiz altogether. It is much smoother and much less power and RAM hungry. It also have the 'Tablet Mode' So you won't miss the gorgeous Tablet interface of Touchwiz.

I have bought my tab 7.7 8 months ago and glad to say i enjoy using it...i have flashed different mod rom on its, tried a lot of ICS and JB versions and tinkered with a lot of apps and tweaks. My favorite site? XDA development. Just log-in and search for specific device, read and learn from it. Happy new year everyone

It's just like a big galaxy note! The battery is so amazing! and the screen is lovely too! The great features are the screen, battery and the ability to text and call. Love it!
