note1720, 18 May 2012Hi there...when i trade off my sgt 10.1 for this so called ... moreYou have to tweek your SGT 7.7 first in order to use Astro File Manager. I rooted mine and got to use most of the SD card for saving files but not apps.

Hi there...when i trade off my sgt 10.1 for this so called upgraded high end gadget???...i end up having a device showing mobile view INSTEAD OF FULL WEB although i set my dolphin browser to display WEB PAGE...disgusting.....type www.gsmarena.com and i get mobile pageee....when using file manager i can only use the default file...other file app such as astro, file manager etc etc CANNOT BE USED with the tab 7.7 i.e to make a TRANSFER FROM BUILT IN SD MEMORY TO EXT SD CARD...another blunder...only allow ONE WAY TRANSFER...so much for a high end crap...but at the end of the day i must say that i am really that stupid getting this plastic...tq

The 7.7 is brilliant in build quality. The display is amazing as is the battery life. The problem is the software it is on Honeycomb 3.X and there is no ICS 4.X in sight - even thoguh it is aome 9mths since it's launch.
My recommendation is to avoid this and any samusng product as the post purchase support/upgrades. Save your money, so our research and go with something that has better support.
I have a Tab 7.7, SGS, Galaxy Tab (original) .. yep been burnt 3 times....

i bought it 3 weeks ago, it's nice, quite fast, screen colors, superb, battery life is good comparing my previous tab p1000, I am using data packet all time, battery is standing for at least 3 days, thw shocking news i emailed samsung support asking for the update and the reply was there will not be ics update for this tab and it will stay with honeycomb 3.2 as it is!!!

Still expecting for scratched resistance glass screen tablet with users replaceable battery. so that higher speed, quad core, expensive tablet could last 3 years plus on heavy uses.
