Of the Android tablets I've tried this is the best. The screen is great, it's reasonably fast, good battery life and nice form factor. That being said it has enough annoying issues that using it can be frustrating at times. In particular, we wanted to download video content to the tablet via Wi-Fi. It appears the chip/processor handling the Wi-Fi only has sufficient speed to cope with about a 1Mbps throughput. For large files we're therefore limited to using the USB connection. The proprietary USB connector is another problem if you forget it. Why on earth was a standard connector not used? Finally, like many Android platforms, things just don't mesh together as seamlessly as they might. Overall, not bad but still lots of room for improvement.

I have it for a month now and its amazing.
I dont add any sim card in it
I simply turn my 3G on HTC Desire and convert it to wifi hotspot
and i have internet everywhere.
Htc for mobile phone
Samsung for tablet.
And you have everything.

Is there anyone that can tell why i cannot attached any word or excel documents when im using my tablet in sending emails? Is there any required configurations?thanks and happy new year in advance.

I have bought SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 10.1 GT-P 7500 But there is a message on a front screen "Insert SIM Card". And I inserted SIM Card correctly. A network system is GSM900 but not 3G. It is 1G. Can it work in such a system.

Can Samsung Galaxy work in GSM900 which is not 3G network? There is a message in a front screen saying "Insert SIM Card". But SIM Card was inserted Correctly.

I bought this tab last 2 weeks, one thing that make me a little curious is,my tab is made in vietnam. Or i bought was a fake one?

I hv bought galaxt tab 10.1 on 15/11/2011 and within 2 days it keeps hanging and i need to switched off the tab and on again. the command of 'force shut down' always appear. Youtube application which comes with the tab was not functioning too. eg you search for mariah carey's song but it appeared other mtv. The battery is not lasting too.

paul, 09 Dec 20112 days before i bought a galaxy 10.1 tab,have problem conne... moreIf you have to use internet through sim then you have to insert the sim first and then reboot it it will start working automaticly if you turned off your wifi. If sim card is not inserted the it is usual to have (insert sim card) on the lock screen. Nothing to worry.

Oh sammy why dont you hear the feedback of the customers using your products, see hair lotof people have posted their lot prblems while using the galaxy tab 10.1 3g. People have lot of complaints with their galaxy tab,so sammy you must solve all these prolems in the next upcoming i.c.s update,
Like lots of other people i also want the full phone functionality in the next update,
Becsuse the current old software doesnt even contain the phone dialler, so how on earth we can chec our data balance on 3g sim card, and how to execute other network commands like *142# etc.....?????????????????????
So next time dont forget to bring a dialler with the phone functionality!!!!!!!!!ok!!!!!!!!!!
Another major annoying problem that many people like me are facing is the uncapable keyboard on samsung galaxy tab 10.1 3G, what is the advantage of purchasing a 10 inch tablet if its keyboard instead of a extremely large screen cannot give us all Ten Finger functionality???????????
Even the sequence of keys is not like true qwerty,and it differs alot from the desktop keyboard, so samsung pls wake up and bring up for us a Tablet Optimised Keyboard, o which the whole ten fingers could find their place, for an easy typing experience!!!!!
If you dont know, how, learn from asus......
But hope samsung will not take notice of these important things as usual, and people like me will be contineously facing problems like these...
May be some one from gsm arena staff brought it light, to start a debate, prbably resulting in waking up sammy...

I buyied it a week ago in pakistan m using it but it sometimes get hang so i have to lock the screen than it become to use i dont knw y. But all other than this aspect its good compared to iphone.

Both are great device i own the both of them... Heres the thing. The samsung is better at transferring files and the camera of the samsung tablet is alot better. That is the advantage of the samsung tab. For the apple if compared to speed and fluidity of the touchscreen u cannot compare samsung over apple , apple has a smooth touch screen, but the iTunes is bit annoying that you have to sync it from time to time if u wanna transfer some files anyways theres an advantage for that. For example you accidentally formatted your ipador you sent it for repair atleast everything is saved from ur iTunes but that is the advantage of iTunes. If we compare about apps samsung has good apps for games etc. Apple has better apps but you need to pay for it unlike for android alot of the apps are free. But all of us has to be honest Apple is faster than the samsung. I'm not an apple fanboy i own both of the tablets so am not being bias :)
