is it faster than ipad 2 or the same or slower??? i compared both of them and i observed that galaxy tab is bit slower or was that beacuse of the use of some heavy theme??

Truly samsung sucks big time... So lagging in many ways and how do we fix d bugs tings like that..
Its not user friendly.. So complicated, not easy to explore. Apple better in alot of ways, jailbreak n not jailbreak.. Never ends till it builts our love towards it dat never ends too, everyday der is always a news about apple and d same way we learn everyday about it... So straight to the point.. And there is something dat is so unique dat apple has dat samsung does not have... Try apple and put some xtra effort to noe it deeper, since then u will noe wat is apple really about... 4ever apple!,

I bought one of these, and within 48 hours I had bought a second and also sold my two rubish ipads.
even my son said it was better.
This works, and does what the apple couldnt do
Great not perfect, but heaps better than apple.

Aplle is way too restrictive in what and how developers can deliver app's to the end user. IMHO the developers far perfer Android because if is so open. Time will tell however, with the claimed 500 000+ new Android devices being activated daily, Aplle have to be worried!

However confused of the difference between 8.9 Vs 10.1... Which is better ? Only differences are screen and device size.
Do we need MICRO SIM Card for the 3G ? No, standard sim slot.
Is GPRS Supported ? yes GPRS, EDGE, HSPA.
Is Video Calls on 3G GSM supported ? Not sure, i am gonna check it and reply again.
Is Skype Video Calls supported ? Yes.

Does anybody know for sure if Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G will get the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update?
Some blogs on the web state Samsung Italy made that announcement but confused how far to rely on the news.

Can anyone explain why the voice capabilities would be disabled?
Certainly, they're present: the CTIA exhibition video shows tablets making phone calls. If I didn't have more faith in human nature (or corporate humans' nature), I'd guess that carriers $ugge$ted Samsung to disable it so the carrier could force customers to buy two devices (cellphone + tablet) and two plans (voice + data). I believe that Samsung could clean-up in the tablet market if their devices were fully enabled.
Since I do have faith in human nature, I believe the reason for disabling phone capability is because dialling will work much better under IceCreamSandwich, and Samsung wants us early adopters to get familiar before giving us the full experience. I look forward to seeing whether Samsung will be my favoured vendor in the future.
Another possibility is that GSM voice is going the way of the dodo, and SIP or other voice technologies, that operate over HSPA or LTE, will replace it. Samsung can't be bothered to support the dodo, despite carriers' obsolescence. In that case, I can't wait until high-speed-data voice is standardized, so my HSPA tablet will ring when my wife calls, and so I can call her back using my bluetooth headset.
Do others have ideas/suggestions as to what's going on?
