I had the Ipad 2, I gave it away, and got the Galaxy Tab 10.1, heres why -
You can connect a usb pen drive to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 ( Gtab) with the small usb connector provided in the box, with this you can play movies directly from the pen drive,open documents edit them and save them back to the usb pen drive ( you get the idea ) , all of this is impossible with an ipad.
Secondly you need itunes for every data transfer that you want to do,with the Gtab you can drag and drop files from any Windows Pc without any additional software
Third, the PLS display is far more vibrant, high res, and colorful than the ipads Lcd screen
To me the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is my netbook replacement.

Can Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tab and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 be possibly connected to projector? I am planning to by one for my class lecture or any presentation needing projection.
Hope somebody can help me in this concern. Thank you!

Acer wins Samsung only with Usb port.

Apple's supremely commanding presence in the mobile and tablet markets compels reviewers to compare any product of the competition (in this case Samsung) to the ones coming out of Cupertino. Which is what makes your sly barbs at Apple so amusing.
The reviewer says it is NOT impossible for competitors to catch up with the iPad. Trends in the smartphone market show it. And what's the trend? A clutch of Android running mobile/tabs with varying hardware standards and home screens competing for market share with giant icon Apple. Much like the allied armies against Germany in World War 1&2.
So what's so great if together they notch up a higher market share? The hard fact is that no single company can hold a candle to Apple in sheer quality and end user experience. Apple sales are continuously blowing the ceiling, breaking their own records. Samsung just lacks Apple class. Accept it! Nothing it makes, howsoever good, will ever bring it anywhere near Apple, much less best it.
Check individual sales, and you'll see the utter absurdity of your hopes. When you decide who tops the sales charts, you don't band together 10-20 against one. That's unfair! Twenty competitors ganging up to overtake one rival isn't exactly an achievement. If anything, it shows their failure to excel. Galaxy 10.1 will go the way of Galaxy 7. No better, no worse!
