Samsung pushes two updates to Galaxy S20 FE

Ivan, 22 October 2020

Samsung pushed two separate firmware updates to the Galaxy S20 FE. The first, which was released last week - version G78xxXXU1ATJ1, lists improved stability as well as a fix to a reported touchscreen issue where the phone would register ghost touches. We haven't experienced such issues with our unit, so we can't confirm if are they successfully addressed.

The second firmware - G78xxXXU1ATJ5, seeding now across Europe, doesn't list anything touchscreen related in the changelog, although some users apparently have reported improved touchscreen responsiveness (quite the subjective thing to measure, in our opinion).

Both firmwares are supported by the LTE and 5G model of the Galaxy S20 FE. Drop us a line below if you own the Galaxy S20 FE and have had touchscreen woes.
