sunil, 07 Aug 2009please anyone tell me about the battery back up of this phone?the battery back up is more than 1 day if u use the phone frequently and is more than 2 or 3 days in standby mode.

1-nice complexion
2-good camera quality
3-slim
BUT the battery back up is not so good,although it is not less than one and half a day minium.i am using this set since 2 months.
its music quality is also very nice.

it has been three days of using the phone it's pretty good the battery back up is 2-3 days.
but have a problem m unable to download third party java games if it can b done then pls tell me how.

Someone asked about differences between this phone and M3510. Is someone that knows differences at camera quality (even if is only 2Mpx)? And the general quality of the two phones.

Also being a nokia it has thousands of available applications, games and themes..
s3310 is very good for its price.....metal body, 2.1 inch screen with 16M colors. 5130 has 2 inch screen with 256K colors

1. If u make samsung silent during call ringing....just press volume key for 1 second. The ring wud be silent like in Nokias or Sony Ericssons.
2. Go to "Settings"...then "Sound Settings"....then "Message Tone"...then "Messages". Set "Repetition" option. The phone will keep reminding u after specific time, till u read the new message.
Another feature is "Privacy" setting...which is only available in all Samsungs sets (high end to low budget sets). This makes u able to secure yur personal data (messages, phonebook, images, videos, memory card etc.) To activate, go to "Settings"...then "Security"....then "Privacy"...and activate it.

spiden, 03 Aug 2009guys, pls dnt confuse urselfs and others. i have both these... mores3310 doesnt have a 230MB int. memory!
it supports only 30MB,moreover we cant use half f it because the preloaded ringtones n wallpapers cant be deleted.

oh and also I forgot no light(like in nokia 6300) to signal missed calls or new messages.I have seen this in my motorola w 218 which makes a beep every 2 minutes if you missed a call or received a new message!Too bad Samsung forgot this.I'm very satisfied with the baterry backup!Just don't forget to reduce the brightness of the screen and to turn off the keypad's light.

pros:
-nice display
-theme creator aplication
-nice batery backup( I achieved 17 days on stand-by with 5 min of talking per day , a couple of songs transfered by bluetooth,brightness set to minimum and keypad light set only at night)
-pretty good camera
cons:
- no silence option on soft keys when somebody calls(you have to keep pressed the volume button on the side) like the one in nokia's
-kind of hard to use keypad
-only 500 sms storage(but very good compared to 200 on old samsungs)
