Use this option and protect a message!!! Then Select OPTION and go to the 10th option,Now you will have PROTECTION OFF!!!
Select PROTECTION OFF to unprotect your protected message!!!

#10 option is Protected - and mine is set to on.. i mean i am not able to edit or change that to off.
Option #10 is coming : Protected ON
m still confused.. please tell the exact way out..

I using this set for more than 3 months!!!
First of all when you buy a new phone, you have to put the phone for 8 hours charge when you switch on the phone for first time! While doing this the full battery backup come to life! If you directly use the phone after opening the pack and make it drains, the battery performance to the rest of the years will be worst!
So i kindly ask all new users and those who are going to buy s3500 or any other mobile, recharge the mobile for 8 hours when you switch on the mobile for the first time!!!
I have a battery back up of about more 2.5 days!! Even i using the profile as MELODY + VIBRATION! Daily i used to hear music for more than 2 hours and watch videos regularly on mean time and regular usage of mobile such as receiving and sending many messages, calls, etc!!!
Then we have gave some battery backup tips for more battery performance!

Download any JAR file and convert that into JAD using the above software!
Then you will get two files: 1.Jar(size according to the apps or games) 2.Jad(size=1KB)!
Put them both on Phone memory or other files in Memorycard! Then click the JAD file in your mobile... It ask "Do you want to install?" Select Install button and the apps or game will installed in less than a second!!
You can see your installed games and apps in MAIN MENU----> APPLICATION----> GAMES AND MORE -----> MY GAMES-----> your installed game or apps!!!!
HOPE MY COMMENTS WILL HELP!!!

its battery is too bad, its stand-by time is 48 hours(2 days). if you like to listen sings on it then it will give you only one day battery life.
if you want long battery backup. pls dont by it

There you see PROTECTION OFF button!!! Select that option and your messaged is unprotected!!! When you delete the whole message, PROTECTION OPTION will come without the tick,,,,, Just select delete button and whole sms will be deleted!!!

If you eventually delete the whole inbox without knowing, the important messages in the inbox will be deleted too!!! When you protected the Messages or audio, the messages will not be deleted eventually!!
Ya the protected messages will be stored where the messages is stored!!! Ex: If you protected a message in Inbox, it is protected in Inbox!!! When you move the protected message to other folders, the message will be protected in that folder!!! Like wise audio, video etc!!1

1)i bought s3500 yesterday but wen i try to install some softwares or games from websites given here. i changed tha formate to JAD. but when im trying to install it showing Java IO exception. how i can solve this problem ? help me pl ...pl
2)wen i drag drop any jar file of 320 KB etc it gives jad file of less than 1 KB,something like 325bytes etc..is it ok or m i doing it wron or is my jadmaker not functioning properly .pl answer my previuos n this question both

Very bad.The battery back up is very low even not going for 1day.from the next day of purchasing these problems happenned.battery is main in a mobile.Now company is ready to give money refund now. but its also took around 03 months. I have not enjoyed this phone.service is also bad of Samsung.

The protection tool for messages is another awesome feature of S3500!!!
If your loved one have sent a heart touching message, then view the sms.. GO TO options, here you can find the PROTECTION ON option!! Select the option and your message is protected from deleting!!!
When ever you deleted the whole inbox, S3500 ask a question PROTECTED - delete ---- cancel!!! Untick the Protected and select delete!!! All the messages will be deleted except your protected messages!!!!
The features of S3500 is increasing day by day!!!!!

Now i say you how s3500 is much more better than LGGM200!!!
1) S3500 have 240 x 320 screen display whereas LG GM200 have 176 x 220, See the pictures that i posted earlier and feel the big difference between LG and S3500
2)S3500 have 1 crore 60 lac colour combination where as LG GM200 have only 2 lac and 56 thousand colour combination!!!
3)LG GM200 is again a boring bar phone But S3500 is stylish slide metalic phone!!! Because nowadays most of all loving slide phones!!!!
4) Video recording is recorded in QVGA in S3500 (much more better than other 2MP phone!!! My friends cant believe that the video is taken in 2MP camera)

5) s3500 accepts upto 16GB but LG GM200 only 2GB!!!
Other AWESOME features!!!

in an emergency jus press either end of the volume key 4 times when the phone is closed. this will send the SOS message to ur selected recipients. if they call u back their call will be automatically connected. its definately a life saving feature.
Message alert repetition: it will alert u in evry 2 min if there is an unread mes on ur phone....u can put it off too.
keypad lights automatically set according to day night usage or according to ur custom usage dont have to on or off it manually.
have all the features which only a music phone possess....n music player is shockingly loud n clear.

very intresting feature...wenever u use ur mobile n came back to standby....it will welcome u with diffrent wallpapers of ur choice each time.(to know more read earlier reviews)

cam cover: cam is not at the back of fone....it is inbetween the slide so slide act as a cam cover...protect lens from scratches, dust n all.
can change DEFAULT MEMORY setting: u can change default memory settings of bluetooth, wap downloads, camera, camcorder, voice recorder, fm radio etc from phone mem to memory card.
for ex: now when u transfer any file through bluetooth or click a pic, or record a radio clip they'll b directly stored in ur mem card.
Awesome file management:
The functionality of the file browser is one of the best among non-smartphones. You can copy or move files - both one by one or in bulk, and you can create and delete new folders (save for the basic ones). Files can also be sent via Bluetooth one by one or multiple at once. Throughout the whole file manager, you can pick files you would like to lock to prevent accidental deletion. The whole file navigation thingy is really quick with no lags whatsoever.
apart from these there are a lot more features like "THEME CREATOR" or BLUETOOTH MESSAGING....the list is endless.....we r still exploring.....

Most of features mentioned in s3500 is not present in LG Gm200 handset!!! So the LG fakers are misleading the new users who are going to buy s3500 by their fake comments!!!Especially the Nevin Joseph-beware of this ga(u)y in this forum!!!!

Please check these two phones and say which is good!!!
When come to features,,, LG Gm200 doesn't have half of the features s3500 possess!!!
Ok lets see the Video clarity!!! S3500 record video in QVGA format - 320 x 240!!!
Whereas LGgm200 records only in QCIF format - 177*144!!
By having this worst features in LGGm200, the Fakers are very frustrated by the features of S3500 even at this price range!!!
One more thing is LG Gm200 doesn't have call recording facility!!! He he he he !!!
Dont worry fakers, just through your LG in a dustbin or give it to a beggar(even he too dont like that) and buy the mass set S3500!!!
Or i have a remedy, Just fall with your LG from a hill for buying that worst phone ever in mobile history!!!!

Hi Friends, I have one more issue..in samsung 3500 there is a "Protected" feature in mobile.. when we delete any message or a file(image or audio), there comes a "Protected" option. What does it mean?? choosing or Ticking that option does what??
and in media folder, there comes some more options like shared, protected and 2 more.. what is use of this??
