i have this fone for the last 5 months n mine is still absolutely brand new in every aspect.
moreover 5 friends of mine also bought this fone n they are more than happy wid the quality.
n read earlier comment nobody other than u got such prob n now go n check other companies forum u'll found plenty of unlucky souls like u.
i dont knw wats ur ph prob but as it is in warrenty period there is no need to moan here.
n Yup i think we get the picture. Are u going to post that comment over and over again? Its getting quite annoying. u already post the same comment already 4 times....hehehe conrol man.

Superb features...but I wish Samsung ha also fovcussed on quality.

Just within 2 months...the motherboard of s3500 has gone bad...the service centre wants 15 days to replace!!!

What the hell....

Even worse...I am losing all the data on the cell that was so precious to me.

ok first talk bout themes
u dont have to download themes buddy..n why download when u can "create" (n fully customise) themes according to ur taste.
theme creater is one of the BEST feature of this phone u can create ur own themes, jus use ur imagination u can even use ur photos or ur girlfriend’s/boyfriend one n make beautiful theme out of em. the biggest problem with the themes available on net is sometime u like the pic but dont like the colours n if colours are according to ur taste than may b the pic is not ur cup of tea. but with samsung s3500 theme creator u can create theme according to ur taste. u can use the colours u like the most or pic of ur choice its very simple n funnnnnn.
jus follow this to create theme:
menu - settings - display & light - my theme - now press option(left soft key) - here the second option is create...press it now browse to the pic n press select here u'll find 5 preset theme designs use anyone u like.
moreover u can edit them u can change colour mood, main menu icon, focused main menu icons, list fonts, focus effect, focus, focussed fonts, title fonts, soft key fonts, line etc according to ur choice n ur will or u can try em all in a go rather than choosing any preset suggestions.... there is hell lot of customization stuff in there.

s3500 support 3gp n mp4 format. u can convert ur videos in these formats with the help of video converter available in samsung pc suite.

u can use .gif files as ur wallpaper

All of us know, you are having LG GM200 and you are jealousy over S3500!!! You are a kind of person who are giving fake comments over s3500 and misleading others to buy a dappa mobile as you did!!!!

1)Big font: ha ha ha ha !!! Hey buddy dont show your ignorance here!!! You can change the font size to small!!!! You again prove that you are a fake one!!! Seeing the images in internet, you describing the phone!!!

2)Earphone is come along with the pack, which sounds good!!! If you need 3.5 jack , just buy a adapter, cost only Rs. 50

3) Hey buddy, U can install Opera mini, which works fast and good!!!

Did you say that these are the biggest disadvantage in s3500? Oh!!! These are termed as ignorance!!!
Dont be a fake in this forum, we will deal it harsh buddy!!!!

I am still waiting for my unit to be delivered next week but the way Anonymous detailed the scpecs I believe and trust him that this is a good phone. Anynoymous seems to have explored all the nitty-gritty of the phone features. Thanks a lot for the infroamtion!

i have already proved here how s3500 is much much supirior than ur ugly gm200(guyz read my earlier comment) in terms of specs as well as loads n loads of unique features.

moreover ui speed n looks both are awesome.

no one at its price tag can even comparable to its big n rich screen. 2.2 inch + 16 million colours + qvga display.... so its better to stop writing c**p
watching movies on s3500 is really awesome big screen + rich colours makes it more entertaining expirience. i have 5 movies in my phone.

hmmm so wat do u want a poor 176*220 display + a small screen + poor resolution hehehe like ur ugly gm200 than my bro go for basic phone they will give u much much better bettry backup @ low price...coz u write bettry is everythin for u ....hehehe

as i said earlier its not a big deal u can anytime buy a 3.5mm adapter @ as low as Rs 50. n if u hav seen the size u dont complain bout carrying it. n by the way there is no need to carry it coz the headphone comes along the fone is also great. that solution applicable only to those guyz who want to use any other one n not for all.

hehehe have u seen the browser man as i said u got to b kiddin. java support is much better than gm200. can install more game than gm200. n yup browser is v good or u can use opera too.

again u made me laugh why u need hot swap feature did u really remove ur mem card in every single hour...lol
for the last 5 months i m using this phone i havnt even remove my mem card for once.....
stop moaning man.... control ur emotions bro ur frustration is very much visible now :p

s3500 is great at multitasking n do u knw gm200 cant even do anything wen radio is on...lol
-gm200 cant even minimize radio.
-no themes
-wat a muzik phone which have playlist size limitation only 50.
-no call recording
-astonishingly slow UI
-mes key not userfriendly
-cant lock messages
-cant lock ur videos, songs, softwares , games
-cant lock phone book, phone log, calender, memo etc
-cant zoom mesages
-cant lock files to prevent accidental file deletion
-doesnt have menu transition effect
-doesnt have mesg alert repetition
-doesnt have auto keypad light setting(on & off automatically according to preset timing)
-doesnt have random wallpaper effect
-doesnt have bluetooth messaging
-doesnt have smart dialling
-doesnt have auto mes reply function
-doesnt have any protection or cam cover for cam at the back
-doesnt have memory slot expendable to 16 gb (only 2gb)
-doesnt have 2.2 inch screen (only 2 inch)
-doesnt have 1 crore 60 lakh colours (only 256thousand colours: 62 times leass colours)
-doesnt have 240*320 screen resolution (poor 176*220)
-low internal mem only 14mb...lol
-doesnt have QVGA video recording (infirior qcif vedio rec)
-doesnt have 320*240 video recording resolution (poor 177*144)
-cant record videos in MPEG4 and H.263 formats.
-doesnt have multiple alarm
-doesnt have theme creator
-doesnt have calender which shows all indian holidays
-doesnt have sos feature
-cant block sms
-cant block calls
-even though s3500 is a slide phone n gm200 is a bar phone....s3500 is more sleek

there are too many others points but i think its enough for today.
bro grow up n stop all this boo booing like kids.
go n write watever u want in ur forum n stop polluting others.

Nevin Joseph, 29 Oct 2009So I am right after all, only wish others here had the manh... moreOk.. here's a list of things that I find a bit annoying in this phone..

-For a bigger display, I don't think the font size has to be that much bigger. It gives an old fashioned look. Smaller fonts suits well and also gives the appearance of a smartphone interface.

-Flash interface would have scored big time on the colourful and bigger display. It would have been eye catchy to an otherwise ordinary look.

-Bigger display always demand a bigger battery. There are batteries with higher mah rating and with the same size and wont make the phone look bulkier.

-Samsung always wants it to sell their properitiary accessories so a native 3.1 mm jack would have did good for the customer but not for the company and it is still hectic to carry around an adapter if you could ever find one.

-Better java support and a better wap browser would have gone well with the big display but the browser still looks old fashioned.

-Since it ain't a smart phone, hot swap memory slot would have been preferable.

-With a so called better camera and a colourful display, a photo editor of some sort would have been a welcome addition.

Well these are some of the things that just annoys me. It's a stylish phone on the outside with the latest harware I agree but the interface and layout is still outdated and looks like from that of older models. It just doesn't have that modern touch to it.

Nothing personal BOSS... but these are thing even you would have thought of... You know what I mean right?
