hi....
I'm using S3500 for the past one and a half month... the only problem i'm facing is "poor battery backup...."
In spite of following all tips...
The phone is running out of battery in A days time...
Experts Do U have any Idea about what is wrong???

then press down navigation key twice, you will get the level of Battery in percentage (eg:48%)
Some day before, i used this method and i come to know that it has 26 percent of battery remaining!!! In main screen it shows 2 bars... At that time power cut... In our city when current goes off it will come after 2 hours..
I bored and played my favourite songs in my mobile for two hours in full speaker sound!!! It doesn't depleted!!! After 2 hours I checked it once again... it also have 6 percent of battery remaining!!!!but i recharged the mobile at that night only, meantime i get messages, calls and all!!!!
Dont think that when the battery bars is two or below, you battery capacity is fully depleted!!!!
The last three bars give more worktime than the first two!
Battery backup tips!!!
1) First charge the Cell phone as usual...
After full charging, there will be a message displayed for few seconds,"Battery Fully Charged, UnPlug the adapter"...
After that, you charge again, when you do so, the battery will again charge....
Then the same message come after with in 15 to 20 minutes...
Then unplug, now your battery backup will be more sufficient than before...
-jus decrease the brightness of the phone
-dont use the keypad light in day
this is a very good feature...(n u dont have to keep ur keypad lights on n off everyday... u can jus set a time like from 5pm to 9am n it will off n on ur lights at the preset time everyday....try it)
-use melody instead of vibration + melody
-keep the keypad tone off etc
-dont use animated wallpapers
-brightness level is 1, then display off and dimmed will be 5 and 10 sec, then u get good battery performance.display is good while u set level 1.!!!

Anyhow the point I made was that Samsung service centres are poorly managed. This is my direct experience, you cannot challenge that...even if u think that I mishandled my cell. none of your business actually.
Even if my cell did go faulty...I did expect Samsung to finx it in dectn time, not one week, and that too with such bad customer service.
U have your opniion, I have mine, so just keep off, u dont own this forum...

YUP u can set ur cliked photos as wallpaper on the whole screen of ur phone n yup it will cover the whole screen.
jus do one thing goto ur menu - my files - images folder where all ur cam photos are saved n press option here the 3rd option is set as wallpaper - when u'll click it a question bar appears: "set as wallpaper? standard ratio view - now if u press left soft key(YES) the wallpaper will b set on the whole screen and if u press middle key n select standard ratio view only than ur whole pic will b set as wallpaper but it will not cover the whole screen.
so bro its even better than other phones coz u got both the options here.
bro i dont get ur second point in every other phone it will show the same video in pc watever u captured in the phone itself and @ watever angle u captured.
bro bettery backup is good do read earlier comments u'll find plenty of advices to improve ur bettery life + it got usb charging.

I am using the samsung s3500 , it is a good phone but the only thing is that the pictures taken when set as wallpaper does not cover the screen it comes in between the screen. secondly when you caputre the video and try to paly on PC it shows the way it was captured as tilted or straight. other than this the battery is weak it gets shoten in some time. other than that the phone is perfectly fine ..excellent...

gm200 cam is really worst(see the specs).
in all respect s3500 is trully a king.
