But in other aspects such as look, Mettalic finish, large display, slide model----> S3500 rocks!!!!

"......first of all take the look at pics of both the phone n decide wat u want... the one advantage here bout s3500 is its premium brushed mettalic look (i hate plastic slide phones) s3500 looks much costlier/luxurious.
but if u like colourfull phone than go for m2710.
s3500 is more sleek...width:14.3mm
m2710 : 16mm
s3500 has 1 crore 60 lakh colours whereas m2710 has jus 256 thousand colours(really big diffrence....62 time more colours).
s3500 screen is big
cam of s3500 is much better than the other... infact the best cam in its price segment.
in short m2710 is jus a music phone whereas s3500 is a allrounder phone: awesome looks + awesome specs + awesome music + awesome cam+ awesome camcorder + awesome features.(read its great features in earlier comments)
one advantage here with m2710 is u'll get 3.5mm jack with it... although its not a big deal u can anytime buy a 3.5mm adapter @ as low as Rs 50.
choice is yours buddy....."

Hello guyz.....
I want to buy a new fone but I m just simply confused b/w Samsung M-2710 & Samsung S-3500.Can u guyz guide me dat for whch fone shall i go.I mean,dere r various parameters on which one can go for somehing,but for me,the most important parameters are dat IT SHOULD HAVE SUPERB LOOKS & IT SHOULD NOT BE COMMON.Also,I am a music freak,so i want the fone, for which I go, should also have INCREDIBLE SOUND SYSTEM...Plz guyz,HELP ME OUT.....

first of all it has 5 bettery bars shown at the upper right end of the fone n wenever its 3 bars dissappears people thought that bettery is drained out but u knw friend its remaining two bars last for lot more than u expect....
they give u much more power than earlier three bars....
secondly bro u hav recently bought this phone... its brand new for u....its ur exploring phase goin on... u r using it more often than one can usually do. most of the time u'll b clickin it to get familier with its features @ this point of time ur bettery will drain fast coz u r using more of it now. so it will take some days wen u start using it moderately. i remember wen i bought this phone at least for a week i used it extensively .... i ws exploring all of its awesome functions....."
".....to increase its bettery life:
-jus decrease the brightness of the phone
-dont use the keypad light in day
this is a very good feature...(n u dont have to keep ur keypad lights on n off everyday... u can jus set a time like from 5pm to 9am n it will off n on ur lights at the preset time everyday....try it)
-use melody instead of vibration + melody
-keep the keypad tone off etc
-dont use animated wallpapers
explore it u'll find lot more tips too
this will help u in increasing ur bettery backup.
good thing is u got "USB CHARGING" feature so jus connect it to ur PC while u r working n charge it...."

aks, 23 Oct 2009image which you are viewing must be of higher dimension, yo... morenope bro this is not the case. you can directly transfer pics bigger than 1600*1200.... dont need to use pc at all. it automatically fit the pics to its requirement. try it...transfer ur images to ph mem.

thirdly n the biggest diffrence in s3310 is u cant install games or 3rd party software through usb but u can install games n 3rd party softwares in s3500 with usb cable through ur pc so u dont need WAP for this.
and last but not the least u cant transfer ur pics, songs or ur stuff directly to mem card in s3310 whereas in s3500 u can change default memory settings of bluetooth, wap downloads, camera, camcorder, voice recorder, fm radio etc from phone mem to memory card.
for ex: now when u transfer any file through bluetooth or click a pic, or record a radio clip they'll b directly stored in ur mem card.
