n yup s3500 is the best.

Funny bug which samsung should have been found out in simple testing
If you have to silence your ringtone when u r receiving a call (becz we might be in some meeting)... the only way is to decrease the sound by volume button.
But when the ringtone is set to increasing melody.. even if you make it zero by volume key.. it rings after sometime... because the logic of increasing melody just increments it by one and continous to increase..
Such a basic feature.. but has a bug in this phone..
There are many irritating ones like this in this phone wrt user interface...
So be prepared to adjust or be+ve midset before buying this phone.

pls read earlier comments bro its already been discussed many times.
sound clarity is shockingly lound n clear
n cam is excellent
one of the main plus point of this phone is its cam.
quality of pics is awesome.
n as u may knw it has QVGA(supirior to QCIF) cam recording with 320*240 resolution + night mode so video recording is also excellent...record videos in mp4 format.
u dont find such camcorder specs at same price.
its quite tough i m using it for the last 4 months n dropped it couple of time but mine looks really brand new even today thanks to its premium brushed mettalic looks.
but dont recommend it for extreme rough use (water, sand etc) in that case go for samsung marine.

those pics must not be having compatiable resolution.
you can set pics as ur wallpapers on full screen having "any" resolution but the thing is it should b portrait.
jus remember ur phone screen is portrait(vertical) n not landscape(horizontal).
even on ur pc's or laptop u cant set portrait wallpapers on fullscreen only landscape can b set as wallpaper on fullscreen.
so choose wallpapers like 240*320 or 320*480 or 480*640 etc's the resolution cud b anyone BUT not the opposite 320*240 or 480*320 or 640*480 etc
the first figure(eg. 240) should not be bigger than the latter figure.

I am unable to get full screen wallpapers eventhough they aretaken from my digicam having superb clarity. Why do i get the wallpaper set to be only present over 75% of the screen

yup its a matter of availability but as u c even bluetooth cant b used with those phones which r not bluetooth enabled.

Initially when i purchased the phone i too was facing this problem but now the battery backup has increased to a great extent, after using the above techniques. Also my earphones conked off in just 2.5 months of purchasing the phone, went to the service centre and got it exchanged for a brand new one. If your phone is under warranty, on presenting the bill you can get a replacement for your spoilt earphones. However the warranty period for earphone replacement is only 6 months. If you've passed 6 months from the time of purchase then you would not get the replacement...

Simply i m not satisfied with this cell phone because in few days after getting purchased its handsfree is totally gone nd from the starting its battery back up is also so bad. i used to charge it every day with out using the cell phone a lot
