Hi Everyone, I tried using Video Converter in Samsung PC suite. But it doesnot convert complete picture. It converts picture for 30 mins only. Also it doesnot convert .dat files. It will only convert video files into MPEG4. Please let me know which FREE software i can download from web to convert .dat files to MPEG4 for me to watch movies on phone. Please help.

I have a Samsung S3500 and using it since it introduced. My Problem is that icanot run internet in My PC using blue tooth connection. While dialup connection starts connecting to phone it get disconnected...showing different Errors such as 718...618....etc. Kindly suggest me step by step sothat I can run the net in PC by my phone. I have a BSNL Jharkhand SIM.

jus follow this:
menu - settings - phone profile - choose watever phone profile u want (u can create ur own also)...ok say u choose "normal" press option (left soft key) here 2nd option is edit...select it now the first option is call alert type.. press middle key... here u can choose vibration and melody(ringtone)...its done

Had this phone for a couple of months, love it !!
Having a bit of a blonde moment as I can't get the vibration to work long side a ringtone, had a look in the user manual which was no help. Can anyone help ?

YES ofcourse bro s3500 have inbuild call recording feature.
To record call jus follow these steps:
inbetween a call jus press option - menu - application - voice recorder than jus press the middle key...as simple as that.
n if u want to save ur voice clips directly to ur mem card follow this:
menu - settings - memory settings - default memory - voice recorder.... here select mem card... n now ur voice clips will b directly saved in ur mem card

This phone is more precious and loveable!!
When i purchased the phone, at the time itself i sticked a scratch guard protector in my s3500 screen. It only cost me Rs.20...
You can also use that one for preventing further scratches!!!!
I'm also using a pouch for my phone, It also available in ordinary shops...
It prevent your phone from scratches in case!!!

Gentlemen...pls help.
I love my cell, but ths csreen has got hairline scrathes so fast. The screen has lot its charm.
Any idea if samsung will replace the screen...at what cost in India.
Secndly, is the scratchguard advisable now at this stage?
Do we option of changing the casing and screen like its there in Nokia?

While sending the MMS and E symbol comes in top.
I guess it stands for Edge fecility?
Main query is some time the symbol shows up in red and some time in blue - What does it stands for?

The airtel customer care has denied me of any compensation till now even after showing them the the proof & so frustatingly i hav deleted the proofs. I hav learnd a lesson to take either a nokia mobile as the secondary option or to use reliance GSM service since u don't hav to pay for the roaming charges

its a remarkable feature guyz
i used it recently n liked it very much
through bluetooth chatting u can chat or sms ur friend free of cost.... very intresting feature.
its diffrent n way better than sms:
1st of all its free secondly its in chat form u can see the history n third u dont have to wait for send or receive as it does chatting instantly....
guyz jus try it out u'll surely like it....
s3500 rocks!!!!

copied files are very much visible in ur ph mem
yes u can delete em but if u delete em in the first place how cud u use em as ringtones!!!!!!
so if u wanna use em as ringtones u cant delete them as simple as that.
bro jus clear ur doubts u got 45 mb internal mem n u can extend it upto 16gb so its not going to b a prob moreover i already suggest u bout ringtone makers....
n jus tell me one thing are u going to set diffrent ringtones for each n everyone in ur contact list n that too with full 6mb songs????????
