I have read reviews of... moremy dear bro than u should check the reviews regarding other phones pc suit too...jus google it.... n u'll find hell lots of problems....(do it for once)... but in those cases also the problem is either they dont install it properly or their pc's r responsible for it...like may b they dont have the right as adminstrator or thereis is some sort of software in their pc'c which become the obstacle or sometime u have another pc suite installed on ur pc or may b the settings are to b blame.....these are innumereous....
mine samsung pc suite is workin smoothly n great...
bro as i said YES u can see pics in slideshow in s3500.... n yup i agree with u but bro s3500 has 45mb internal memory which is quite enough at least for ur pics....so jus transfer all other stuff to ur mem card n enjoy....

if there is any problem in ur pc or u cant install software properlly why u blaming phone for this,,,
bro its a personal problem.....
my 4 friends have this phone apart from me n neither have any problem in installing pc suite....
i have installed it on my pc as well as on my lappy n mine is working absolutely fine... i have xp on my pc n vista on lappy....
read earlier views bro...apart from u how many people hav post this prob....
its a individualistic problem bro if thereis any setting in ur pc which resulted in some kinda problem dont write it here as it is a general prob....

try it now...

Problems you are mentioning is only basic, those who are going to buy a phone does not stick to these basic features....
If a person is going to buy a mobile, only ask the salient features but not ask about very minor details...(EG:- Shall we see the upcoming pics continously by pressing next??, Is this mobile have fullscreen feature will seeing pics????)
As you said "I also suggest others to buy this phone",
The problems which you are saying cant withstand with the fantastic Mega features of S3500... I think you also agree with me!!!

Yes. You need to press the button for more time to unlock the phone.
Alternatively You have to open the slider to unlock.

I am just listing down the problems because I want you guys to take informed decision. But I also agree that this the best mobile in this price range as Boss is saying.
Problem #2:
You need to install a driver to connect this mobile to a system unlike anyother mobiles.
And the PC Studio provided with this mobile crashes the windows system often. I have installed on my Vista genuine software and XP SP2 genuine software and in both cases it crashed the system.
Donot answer it like I didnt install it properly or I am waste guy who doesnt know how to use windows etc..
The windows problem report said it is a problem in the device driver installed with this software. It is basically a problem with USB modem driver.
So I installed only USB driver which is necessary to connect to a system then it stopped crashing.
To reproduce this issue, install PC studio connect the phone and safely remove it. Do this operation 3-4 times and it will crash the system.
I would recommend you guys not to install PC studio on a office system.
The workaround is install USB driver only from the CD. And if you want to use PC Studio then download and use PC studio 3.

I agree that this mobile is the best in its hardware in this price range but there are basic drawbacks in this phone. I bought it just because of that. And I also recommend people to buy it. But I will also let them know the drawbacks of this phone before buying it. Because I read your reviews and bought the phone and I was annoyed to see these basic usable issues.
Regarding my problem 1, If you are able to browse the images stored on your memory card with next button or doing a slideshow then I am sure you are not using s3500 or u have an updated firmware. Please also understand that the fullscreen view of the image is different from zoomed view.
Someone asked whether he can rotate the picture. No u cannot do it in this mobile.
I will not comment like you guys, but please maintain cool while answering to people who report problems.

b genuine if u really wanna ask sumthin....u cant change the phonebook key...n custom key is their to customise ur own menu's n submenu's....u can create ur own menu instead of using the default one....its a excellent way to customize accordin to ur needs...no need to change it coz its their to support changes made by u....n if u want to assign diffrent things to keys than try it on all 4 navigation keys... u can assign diffrent submenus n shortcut to these keys...n pls read carefully before commenting...read again - random wallpaper feature...whenever u use ur mobile n came back to standby it welcomes u with diffrent wallpapers of ur chice...now i think u understand...s3500 has a automatic lock function so that no key will operate accidently....n to unlock it u hav to press any key for i think 1.5 sec.... to rotate try any software available on net.

2MP camera... AWESOME....
Video resolution 320 x 240, qvga video recording... VERY GOOD.....the video is even more better.....
Fake call mangaement.... due to this facility you can just clicking a button, a fake call will come that will prevent you from critical situations....
Bluetooth which you can browse other phones files....Really awesome feature, that i never seen in other phones....
Loud and crystal clear sound....
Display clarity with 16M colors...so you can get lively images....
2.2 inch display(That you never see in nokia phone of this range, even if you spend two or three thousands extra)
Security management(can lock your sms,calender,call log, memory card, files, events, memo, task,etc...
sliding model with mettalic finish....
USB charging...Good feature at this price.....
FM with radio data system....
No limit for FM stations...
Expandable memory upto 8GB(cant think of it in NOKIA PHONES-only upto 2GB)....
Great speed even with 8GB memory card....
Does not Hang even with 8GB....
Multiple Alarm: There are five alarm slots available on the Samsung S3500 and additional ones can be created if needed. Each of them can have its own snooze time, number of repetitions and activation days. The volume can also be different for each alarm. Furthermore, you can set different tones for each of the alarms and you can choose whether it should trigger phone vibration.
Calendars - Calendar Function is awesome in this phone. It have all Indian Holidays marked. If there is a public holiday (date) it will show a icon below and when u click button, it will show you which holiday it is.
PRIVACY LOCK: Locking function is also very good where you can lock ur Messages, call log, phonebook, ur files (pics, videos, games etc), calender, memo, task etc...watever u want. really a unique function...
BLOCK Calls n Sms's: u can block calls as well as sms.

when u connect other phones through bluetooth it ask for a passcode....it really enhance ur phone secutity bcoz of this ur phone can not be hack through any hacking tool.
another awesome feature is when you connect through Bluetooth to any other device you can take a control of that phone as all files and folders of other connected phone are displayed on S3500. You can take whichever files you want without bothering other person.
"Fm recording" n the best part is the audio quality of recorded clip is shockingly loud n crystal clear n can save unlimited no. of stations.
"call recording"
crystal clear call recording n the other person on call will not hear any annoying beep.
"Fake Call function" this feature enables you to activate a bogus incoming call, so you can free yourself from awkward conversations or dodgy situations by pretending to take a call. For added authenticity, you can record your own or ur friends fake voice "call" that plays back when you answer.
Menu transition effect
if u seen latest aamir khan's samsung ad then u wud probably knw wat i m talking bout...wenever u press a button the screen slides from right to left....it looka awesome...u can also change ur transition effect.
"MOBILE TRACKER 2.0"
Mobile tracker automatically sends an SMS message to a pre-designated number alerting you when your phone’s SIM card is changed, increasing your chances of recovering a lost or stolen mobile phone.
"SOS FUNCTION"
in an emergency jus press either end of the volume key 4 times when the phone is closed. this will send the SOS message to ur selected recipients. if they call u back their call will be automatically connected. its definately a life saving feature.
Message alert repetition: it will alert u in evry 2 min if there is an unread mes on ur phone....u can put it off too.
keypad lights automatically set according to day night usage or according to ur custom usage dont have to on or off it manually.
have all the features which only a music phone possess....n music player is shockingly loud n clear.
"Random Wallpaper Effect"
very intresting feature...wenever u use ur mobile n came back to standby....it will welcome u with diffrent wallpapers of ur choice each time.(to know more read earlier reviews)

cam cover: cam is not at the back of fone....it is inbetween the slide so slide act as a cam cover...protect lens from scratches, dust n all.
can change DEFAULT MEMORY setting: u can change default memory settings of bluetooth, wap downloads, camera, camcorder, voice recorder, fm radio etc from phone mem to memory card.
for ex: now when u transfer any file through bluetooth or click a pic, or record a radio clip they'll b directly stored in ur mem card.
Awesome file management:
The functionality of the file browser is one of the best among non-smartphones. You can copy or move files - both one by one or in bulk, and you can create and delete new folders (save for the basic ones). Files can also be sent via Bluetooth one by one or multiple at once. Throughout the whole file manager, you can pick files you would like to lock to prevent accidental deletion. The whole file navigation thingy is really quick with no lags whatsoever.
apart from these there are a lot more features like "THEME CREATOR" or BLUETOOTH MESSAGING....the list is endless.....we r still exploring....
these features are coming in at Rs.5500 only....
If these features are available in other mobiles, then buy that phone immediately....

yes frnds i liked this phone when i read the specifications and saw the pics, i went to the shop for demo but shopkeeper said that they cannot beak open the seal..and its cost is 5600/-.
i am planning to buy this phone this weekend,ur posts opinions and reviews are highly appriciated ..thanks to all :)
