check the reviews of other phones also (nokia, lg watever)
nowdays 4 hrs of talktime is not considered bad at all.
n if u follow suggestions given on this page ur talktime will definately increase to 6 hrs which is more than enough.

When i install more than 40, it asks to delete the pre-installed games....

actually the thing is it has 5 bettery bars shown at the upper right end of the fone n wenever its 3 bars dissappears people thought that bettery is drained out but u knw friend its remaining two bars last for lot more than u expect....
they give u much more power than earlier three bars....

-good thing is u got usb charging feature so jus connect it to ur PC while u r working n charge it....

- other things u can do to increase its bettery life are:

-jus decrease the brightness of the phone
-dont use the keypad light in day
this is a very good feature...n u dont have to keep ur keypad lights on n off everyday... u can jus set a time like from 5pm to 9am n it will off n on ur lights at the preset time everyday....try it.
-use melody instead of vibration + melody
-keep the keypad tone off etc
explore it u'll find lot more tips too
this will help u in increasing ur bettery backup....

the phone is superb in its look .i love my new s3500.but iam facing only one problem that is the battery backup .its now only two days i have owned this phone...but the battery is not even standing for a day...can anybody help me please....

why do u need a third party software for music n video?
its own music player n video player is awesome. its music player got all the features which only a music phone possess.
to forward n rewind ur songs n videos jus press n hold left n right nevigation keys.

i m askin it bcoz these third party software r not that efficient as the inbuilt one....

to increase volume there is a key to the outer left side of the phone this is the volume (+/-) key.... to increase volume jus press upward n vice - versa....
with this key u can also zoom ur photos n u can zoom ur messages as well try it.

It also accepting the softwares and apps as other mobiles do...
GO to mobile9.com and search through the softwares for s3500, there you can find lots and lots of software for s3500

I also downloaded BTMANAGER, it'a amazing software, by this you can hack NOKIA, SOny mobiles without secure code... In the inbuilt software of this mobile, we can only browse the files when we type the password and your friend should allow you to pair with?
If not, you cant browse the file...

But by this BTMANAGER, you can brwose even thier files without their permission and securecode....
You can hack only Nokia and sony mobiles....
But in the case of samsung, you cant hack because it has security even to bluetooth pairing....

If you friend is using samsung mobiles, this software is not efficient to hack his mobile..........

I'm using KD player, ipod player,etc..for my mobile for playing music....

The manual says press upper arrow, when i press the upper arrow, it is going back to the previous screen but not increasing the volume.

Java isn't exactly one of this phone's strong points. Its API is so limited you can't even play multiplayer bluetooth games coz it doesn't support bluetooth java API and applications also and many other java APIs are not supported by most Samsung phones

when u put both the files (jad n jar) in ur phone mem "other file" folder it will automatically show the installer,
n if u r putting jar n jad file in ur mem card "other files" folder wat u have to do is jus go to the jar file n press the middle key n it will show the installer....in ur comment u write u click on jad file no buddy u have to click on jar file do it again.
i have 40 games in my s3500 n i never face this type of problem......

excellent phone...everythn superb..da cam requires just one light click...snap..n use full size..its best. now my ques..in my phone sms sending is very slow wen more than 1 page or more than 1 recipients..da first page or sms is quick but after tat it taks lots of time..is da problem in my instrument only?? ne solution???

this phone provide hell lot of features which no other fones can in the same price range or even if u shell out rs 3000 to 4000 more......

i dont get it wat do u mean by all of us buddy how can u knw bout others...talk bout urself even i put all my pics in phone memory.....s3500 has 45mb internal memory which i find good enough.....
u know man there may b some features which u found in one phone n are absent in another.....
u know u can zoom ur pics stored in ur mem card in s3500 by pressing volume key +/- but u CANT do the same in nokia 5130.....

again u r showing ur IGN0RANCE
i have told u earlier if u dont know than first do ask before posting ur rubb1sh conclusions......
YES i have canon powershot n i have copied pic clicked by it to my phone n there is absolutely NO PROBLEM in doin so....
if u personally dont know how to do it dont blame phone for it....
try one thing jus RENAME ur pics...sometimes the name is too long.....give ur pics a short name....

wat a negative attitude u have man u giv ex of w200.... now if i make a list of all those features which only s3500 possess over that phone this whole page will show only my comment.
its like saying my 2000 rs tata phone is better than Rs 35000 N97 coz it has welcome note which i dont find in N97....LOL (obviously joke was not in terms of price tag)...:)

again u r showing ur ign0rance....who said u the phone keypad cant b locked....man the phone does it automatically....u dont need to press anything....it has this auto lock finction.
bro wenever u close ur slide it will lock automatically n to unlock it jus press n hold any key for 2 seconds.

yes bro it mendate to open it wen u use speakerfone coz the mike is beneath the slide.

Yes u can directly connect ur phone with ur pc as a usb without installing pc suite....n nobody gives false info here read earlier comments again bro...u got a pc studio CD with ur fone jus install a driver in ur pc n its done......
wats the big deal man u got the drivers along ur pc suite...u know u dont even get a PC suite in the first place along with the phone if u buy 5130.....lol

YES u were wrong in many ways but the main problem with u is ur attitude is really NEGATIVE....
as i said no phone is perfect at least not at 5.5k price so one has to see which phone have better features n which would provide more "VALUE FOR MONEY"....
i already write this, take example of any phone at its price n then read earlier comments u urself wud find out how s3500 is the best among them.

jus tel me one thing all those features which i write in my earlier comment do u find those in any other phone??????

ur kinda pessimistic people will show this type of attitude no matter wat phone they'll buy...
as i gave the example of n 97(best in the class)ur typo guy will definately complaint: oh gosh wat a bad fone doesnt even have welcome note......
but do u think this will dimnish its grandeur.....

i guess there is some problem in ur phone jus go to a near samsung service station n consult them....
may b its a virus or sumthn...
i m saying so coz nobody here or any of my friend using s3500 never face this type of problem.
n the main problem is s3500 never restart while installing games.
may b its due to some kinda virus.

games size is around 300 kb in fact some are well less then 300kb.

I have tried it through memory card as well but problum is same. After i click on jad file installing... appears on screen then phone restarts. and i didn't get anything under applications->games and more->my games are the installed somewhere else.

previously i was using E250 and i successfully installed maney games. but this one making me really sad......:-(:-(

Please help me fnds.
