nobody lied to u buddy n there is no problem with usb driver.
when u done installing pc suite u only have to install one usb driver also (as i said comes along ur CD)
there is NO problem in connecting ur phone to pc its really simple.
my advice is uninstall it n then reinstall it.
i dont find any problem in ,,, n if this problem persist only with u pls dont blame all the phones for it.

these r not lie as u mentioned
1) u can definately use ur mem card as a usb mass storage all u have to do is jus install its usb driver(comes along with ur samsung PC studio CD) if u dont want to install pc suite its ok jus install that driver n u can use it as a usb mass storage.
i myself using it as a usb.
2)YES its absolutely true that video is recorded in mp4 format. jus copy video to ur pc n check.

Display(average): cannot see the screen in sunlight
see they are proving it again n again they have never use s3500
coz if they use they got to know how good is the display with 1 crore 60 lakh colours a lot better than there 256 thousand colour phone.
n wat a joke i have already told u guyz one of the positive point is the shutter of this phone is too fast unlike nokia n c wat he is writing ....again buls**t
OK here is a challenge to u in front of all these guyz if u r not fake n if u have even use this phone for once just answer my simple question...
jus tell me how to change menu transition effect in s3500 or name the items under the head application setting....

Another thing is the video is recorded only in mp4 format....
Please transfer the video to your pc and check the format in the 'properties'....
This is also not a lie as you said...

you want to install your pc suite for browsing your internal memory of your phone...
If you want to browse your memory card files in your PC, there is no need of installing Pc suite, it directly open as a drive, if you do not insert your memory card, then it will say that 'insert a disk drive'.....

I would recommend not to buy this phone based on the reviews that are mentioned here. There are many facts which are never told/hidden which you will uncover only after buying the phone.
Some of the basic things which are taken for granted in SE and Nokia doesnt work on this phone. Very strange.

1. For browsing your memory card, there is no need of driver and PC suite, directly it open as a drive....
2. Video is recorded in mp4 format
I have tried it, it does not work as mass torage, it gives error. tried it on 2 computers.
Also, video is recorrded as 3GP.

Dear BOSS, I took your word and actually purchased this cell, But I am sorry to say that you have lied and given false informtion. As usual, Samsung has a problem with USB drivers. Even after installing the software suite, I still cannot use this phone as mass storage, somewthing which happens seamlessly in SONY and Nokia.
Althugh the phone shows up as G drive in my computer but when I try to acces it, I get message "Pls insert drive" This is realy pathetic.
I request all prospective buyesr to not get carried aywa by false appreciation of this phone. Samsung cells always have a problem in terms of comp connectivity.
Does any one have a solution to this problem.? I do not know why Samsung cannot handle an issue that is handled so well even in the most lowe end cells of SE.
In this case, even after instaling the softeare and USB driver, tyhe phone is still not recognised as a drive.
Boss, any answers???

Thank you. I do have Nokia PC suite installed. But I copied the data of the PC studio CD to a folder on XP system. I was able to browse this CD in XP. Then I installed on my vista using that data and its running now.
Interestingly the video playback is great in this phone because of the display resolution.
Can someone help me with other problems. The most important problem is it asks for slider to be opened for switching on the speaker phone while having the call.
I got so used to speaker phone in my last phone of nokia.

not much happy with this phone ...
it luks great but has few drawbacks..
cant be used as a modem to connect net with laptop, cant view images greater than 500kb.. that really annoying,,
browser is pretty slow.
n d most annoying thing is its battery..cant withstand one days usage...only 800mAh..(samsung we expect a lot bettr from you).. only motorola n samsung use such shi**y low quality battries..please make changes..if u wanna succeed...
d phone does luks premium but its back cover has started to peel of..its plastic film isnt much durable...overall will rate it 5.5 out of 10..
its gud fr a person whos new to cellphones or doent like playing with their phones...

Hello,
I bought this phone yesterday after reading all the reviews that are available on this site. I have many surprises after buying this phone.
Can you anyone resolve my surprises
Surprises
1) We cannot browse the pictures in memory card when the music player plays the music or when the radio is ON ?
2) The camera cannot function when the music or radio is being played.
3) When answering the call, why is it asking to open the slider inorder to switch on the speaker. I want to answer the call with speaker on when the slider is still closed. I am doing a lot of stuff when answering the call and to make the speaker ON.
4) The Samsung PC studio CD is not accesible on my Windows Vista laptop. Big surprise because the CD says it supports vista. I am downloading the PC studio from the WEB.
5) The memory card usage is not user friendly. The FM recording file doesnt go directly to memory card. The images go directly to memory card but are not browsable.
6) The images are not shown full screen in slide show. Dont know why and how to do it ?
Please resolve my problems.

my dear bro how... morethere is no doubt that W350 is a wonderful phn...definitely good for its price when it was released...right now you might say some of the features are a bit outdated..but still an excellent music phn for its price...much better that poor old samsung in terms of music quality....
BTW unlike you samsung guys we do give credit to a good phn...but you guys/guy are so much filled with samsung menia that its blinding your vision and judgement...

But the important thing is, in all comparisons our s3500 wins such as 5310 xp, 3110 classic and so on...
When a new one see these comments, he can able to compare the phone with other dummy phones(nokia)
