This phone battery backup is very bad..,! n i don't need to mention about the browser.., if u dnt believe u may ask our boss here...(who tinks himself s d boss) Anyway, people.., including college students usually prefer phone with good battery, plus fast wap browser.., but this phone's browser really slow...!

if u use it only for general purpose than ur get bettery backup upto 2.5 to 3 days i think its enough...n u can also charge it while working on ur PC coz it got usb charging feature...

even a child wud know these votes r not given by experts n not even by users only any ign0rannt like u can vote even if he doesnt know anythn bout the phone
n if u beleive these votes so much (coz u asking it again n again) than forget everythin n go for SONY ERICSSON W350 coz it got much better voting rersult than 5130...go n check urself....lol
now wud u go for Se w350?????? (almost same price phone)
...hahaha...lol
(read it at least thrice coz i know after a day or two u'll surely ask the same question again)

Many, might have observed that boss/ mangal is the boss here, and everyone knws that he thinks he's the only one who use this ugly phone..! Anyway, my dear friends by reading all the opinions posted earlier by boss/mangal.., u'll surely come to know that he write only the +ve points(fake) of s3500. But, some of us(to whom he calls nokia) ,we are have posted our own opinions(genuine). I'm repeating:
s3500 has large display(2.2'), due to this it consumes lots of battery..(really disappointin). It has metallic finish(which is slippery) and much prone to slipping off from hand while using. The music quality is average( remember this is not a music phone, but our boss/mangal says it is better than nokia 5130 and 5310 . Very funny.... hahaha...!
Display(average): cannot see the screen in sunlight.
camera(average): suffers from shutter slag, average picture quality( compared to nokia's/ SE's 2mp camera phones). Overall (rating): 6.5/10. Price of s3500 is very low (6000 INR), but wat is the use of a low price mobile phone if you are not satisfied with it.., huhh! Lastly, my advise to all, and everyone out here is dat , if u don't ever wnna regret for buying useless phone(S), then plz dnt ever go for this phone...! Thanks.

I repeat the comment of a samsung S3500....
true with that facts...
Nokia 5310 noway compared to s3500, because nokia doesnt that must feature to compare with...
SO i repeating...
s3500 has 2.2 inch screen whereas 5130 has 2 inch screen
-s3500 has 1 crore 60 lakh colours whereas 5130 has 256 thousand colours( n this is a big difference)
if u wanna c the difference between 256k n 16m colours just check out nokia 6300 (16m c) than u understand the difference (i knw all these nokia fettish guyz doesnt even saw any other company phone thats why i m giving example of nokia 6300)
so again in terms of screen n display s3500 wins
-5130 cam is really poor on the other hand s3500 cam quality is excellent.
-in 5130 it takes a lot of time to process photos after u click whereas in case of s3500 jus click n done.
-5130 video camera comes with the resolution of 176x144 by far the worse i've ever encountered despite of the 2 megapixel camera which suppose to give double the resolution of the current one,
but s3500 video cam resolution is almost double the 5130's that is....320*240
- another big difference is 5130 supports qcif video recording wheras s3500 supports qvga. qvga is much better than qcif(to know more google it)
so in terms of cam also s3500 wins
-now talk about music
-the sound produced by 5130 is crisp and clear at the lowest volume,..but as it arisen (volume increase) it gets blur(not enough bass and treble)
-the speaker volume is very low coz there is no stereo loudspeakers.
n s3500 music player is shockingly loud n clear
-headfones available with both the phones are average.
-battery backup is almost same.
-another big difference is 5130 gets "hang" when you have too much stuf going on the phone,..like putting all of the shortcut buttons in to the "go to" button (it really hangs)
on the contrary s3500 never hangs or slow down. its speed is awesome,
-5130 doesn't hv contrast adjuster and light sensor. which depletes the battery faster. whereas in s3500 u can change contrast and brightness according to ur choice.
-another intresting feature u'll find in s3500 is menu transition effect....if u hav seen latest aamir khan samsung ad than u must know wat i m talking. wenever u press any button screen slides from right to left looks really awesome.
-there is no smart dialling in 5130 which u get in s3500
-No Flight mode in 5130 u'll get it in s3500
-in s3500 u can lock ur messages or phone book or ur stuff(videos, pics, songs, softwares e.t.c) or memo or calender or task or call log watever u want this feature is inbuilt in it, u can record fm n there is no limit n quality is crystal clear, u can record calls n the other person is not going to hear any annoying beeps, through bluetooth u can brows n download every files of other phones without their consent
u cant find these features in 5130
(remember i m talking about "ONLY INBUILT" features which came along the phone)

-BLUETOOTH MESSENGER
-FAKE CALL: Fake call simulates the phone ringing, allowing you to escape uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situations by pretending you need to take a call.
u dont find these in 5130...
so if u want a hot lookin ALLROUNDER phone then go for s3500.
now u have to decide wat u want!!!!!!!
Dont confuse with this Nokia fetish users....
Because they are posting the fake comments only and making the confusion for new persons who have the thought of buying Samsung s3500... They want the new users to come to their fool's list, as they bought 5310..... Consider them as fools and dont bother about their opinions...
I honestly agree that all the specifications are 100% true... even cant be declained by the nokia users...

both phones are good at their price...i m not here to persuade anyone to buy any phone.....
(samsung is not my chacha's company...lol)
i m jus talking about facts.....
buy whichever u like its upto u....
i'll not say like u guyz(nolia fettish) that if u buy the other phone u r f00l or something like that coz i dont beleive on emo i beleive on facts....
buy any of the phone both are very good....everybody has different taste so in this price range choose any of these phone according to ur taste....

1.Can you pl tell me whether it is possible to use the HTML browser inside phone like the regular browser we use in PC?
2.Is it posible to share the original picture(s) of the phone to buyselkochi@gmail.com ?
Thing is if we see the pictures given in gsmarena.com itself,first 3 pictures shows the number
pad to have dull silver color,but other photos below show very dark grey pictures.Hence this request.

Probably the biggest drawback of this phone is that it cannot run and install java apps above 500kb in size. To be honest this is a detail that the company must provide in specs rather than fooling the customers.
Nowadays most games and apps are above this size.
