Dear All,

I strongly recommend you DO NOT BUYING SAMSUNG MOBILES. From my own experience these equipments are not reliable and are subject to fails very easily. The worst part is then not getting a proper support from Samsung Tech Assistance team when you need that.

    I also own a Samsung S3600 and yesterday (28/Feb/10) it started doing the same. When I switch it on it comes to a loop and keeps restarting. Also tried to remove battery, Sim, micro SD but the problem persists.
    If anybody could help I`ll be thankful.

        Love phone but can't recieve mms messages. Can some one tell me if and how I need to set up. I've gone into application setting where it wants url and other internet info but I just want it to retreive multi media messages.

          i have this kind of phone s3600 and what happens now is that my phone keeps on restarting when i swithes it on. i already try to taking out the battery the memory and the sim then put all those stuff back and switches it on again and still the same.... please give some idea why this happened?,,,, my phone is still less than a year.. thanks

                  I just purchased samsung S3600 and have a question. The external sound(not speaker the earpiece one) seems to be bit low and unclear. The network goes in and out often. Any body can help on this one. or there is some problem with my phone.

                      Okay, it's been over 24 hours since I started using my S3600. Thought I'd answer some of the concerns I've read about in this forum.

                      The user-friendliness is pretty okay. I set one of my shortcuts to start new messages so that's pretty easy.

                      My SMSes have all been automatically saved in the Sent folder, so I have no worries there.

                      I've programmed my Fake Call. For those who want to know how, go to "Settings" > "Application Settings" > "Call". It's the last option in that sub-menu. You have to edit (create) a "fake voice" before you can select that as the option to use.

                      There are some free .jar files that I downloaded from various sites (just Google "free download" ".jar" "games", "mobile") and while not all have worked, some have. I play these on my S3600. Also, the soft keys don't seem to work in some of the games, but that has not impacted my game play yet.

                      I use an MicroSD card adapter and reader to load files directly off my laptop onto the MicroSD card, then just copy all the frequently used files, such as images and sounds for my wallpaper and ringtones.

                      To maximise space on the phone, use the Picture Editor inherent to Windows by resizing and cropping your favourite pictures to 176 x 220 pixels. Then the image should not exceed 100kb and you can have loads on your phone.

                      For sounds, you can download the freeware Audacity and trim your favourite tunes down to the parts you like, so you can copy more of these to your phone and use them as ringtones. I typically trim down to about 20-30 seconds, so my files don't exceed 1MB. And I can choose my own sounds, after copying them to the phone, for incoming call and SMS alerts. You can do that in Profiles.

                      The customisable themes are pretty good, in that I can select my background colour, selection colours and still keep my fave picture as the home screen wallpaper.

                      I've not pushed the battery to its limits, since I charge my phones every night. But I think it can go for two to three days of normal use at the rate I've been using it.

                      Finally, I am unable to view my documents (.doc, .xls, etc.) So if anyone can help me...

                      I really like the dusky pink metallic cover. And I just selected "Anykey Answer" and unselect the "Active Flip". Go to "Settings" > "Application Settings" > Call" > "All Calls" > "Answering Mode". So I can choose to reject an incoming call I don't want.

                      Hope this helps! This is a great phone overall, for its price. I recommend it.

                        I have just bought this phone yesterday in dusky pink. I love the look!

                        However, I cannot seem to open any of my documents! Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thank you!!!

                          I have an 8GB MicroSD Card now. Would I be able to use it on this phone?

                          I was seriously considering this phone. But from what I have read so far, though, it seems like a pretty horrible phone: MP3 limitations, unfriendly texting features, clumsy picture viewing, slow document viewing and, of course, no external screen.

                              hello there,,
                              i cant use nimbuzz, ebuddy or mig33 in my phone.
                              i installed correctly but when the first initial connection is checked by the above apps its says after some moment that-- my internet connection is incorrect??!!

                              wat should i do??
