Hi to the person who was wondering if the keypad flashes when closed, yes it does but apart from that it is a great phone and have no problems with it at all.

Hi just got the s400i , its great. Got a cable to put pics on the pc but cant find any software the disc with the cable did not have an ident for the s400i, can anyone help?

Is this phone any good for a casual user? I'm getting a phone for me mum for her birthday & I am planning to get her something simular to the D500. I know this is a i-mode phone so I was just wondering if there were any main differences with the interface between this & the D500

iam dissipointed it dsnt have a mp3 and it was that lot of money and it weas for ma birthday but i crnt be ungrateful when i wanna be .wats the point of paying that much for that amount for that phone

I was wondering - WHY do they provide a mini-UBB port when they do not actually include a data cable in the box, there is not one available from their website or indeed any other site! If anyone knows where I can get a data cable, please respond. Thanks :)

I recently got this phone from O2 as an upgrade from a Nokia 6230, overall I am quite happy, its got a great display, amazing quality camera and looks really good. I am disappointed that it does not have infrared nor an mp3 player (as this website says it does have both), and other faults include not being able to receive files which are over a certain size and it does not put pictures in alphabetical order which can be annoying!! It does lack some features, but its a very nice looking phone.

it's a good phone, easy menu, good audio quality, camera is good for a phone imo and has a flash, video same, has 13MB internal memory, so will hold quite a few contacts, messages, pics, audio etc.
it is an i-mode phone.
i'm just getting used to i-mode and don't think i'll use it, i have fast internet at home, i-mode is very slow (in ireland, but apparently they're using ancient technology).
i-mail is handy just becauase it works 'out of the box', but i think i wouldn't like to get dependant on the i-mail address as i have yet not found a way to access the imail without the phone and don't think i could 'bring the address with me', in a similiar way that it used to be impossible to keep your phone number if you changed network. Perhpas this will change also.
The basic functions of the phone are good. There's a good deal of memory in in.
I like that it can play any audio as a ring-tone, e.g. a small clip of audio converted to mp4/aac (with itunes for e.g.) and sent to the phone. But though it can record audio, it saves that in a different format and can't play it as a ringtone !

i got this phone 2 months ago and i am in love with this phone the features easily embarrass the likes of the w800i and the d600, and it looks better too much more lightweight. it may not have mp3 player but the standard on the aa player is super dooper. if anyone wants a world class phone this is for you.
