The phone is rubbish! It's the worst phone I've ever used. It won't accept videos over a certain size.

Does not support email excpet for the poor quality i-mail service. I am thoroughly disappointed with this phone as it will not browse most wap sites including Yahoo mail.

i have recently got this phone from o2. my advice to anyone thinking of getting this phone would be not to!!! there is a total lack of features. Having had sony ericsson phones in the past, I couldnt believe the lack of ringtones. going oldskool with polyphonic ringtones. Just arranged with o2 to return the phone and instead to have the sony ericsson w810i. look forward to having features.

this handset does not have an MP3 player, it will only play AAC files or MP4 - does anyone know how to convert mP3's into AAC or MP4

this phone is crap! no expandable memory, no usb, one ringtone on it. I have always had Nokia phones, and thought i would change to the samsung, as i asked for a phone that had all the techy things on it. This has the least! the cam quality if good tho, with a nice flash. The other downside is that the keypad is too hard to get at. No good if you have large fingers, or even normal size fingers! Its light and small and sleek, which is nice. Shame really cos it LOOKS a nice phone, but is letdown greatly by performance. LOOKS can be deceiving!!! Not recommended

I got this phone about a week ago now. I like it, menu is clean and easy to use, regardless of your previous mobile.
I do have several big gripes (and one or two smaller ones) however, if I'd known about them first I would never had bought it.
                      1) Another poster mentions an O2 deal, and sure go for it if you don't want ANY content on your phone - and for some dumb reason that includes normal ring-ring tone. O2 flatly refuse to put the phone model as supported into their content area [even though it's Java, ie, thats why it's portable].
                      2) The support from Samsung is below acceptable. Case-in-point: the phone has a power-save mode that you can set the time for, but cannot setup a screensaver [eg the TIME]. Getting support on this from Samsung, has been like a visit to the dentist for Root Canal. Painful and Messy.
                      3) SamSung have no support for I-Mode yet. So forget about getting stuff off their site even if another model is compatable.
                      4) Text layout is a bit hard to get used to, but it does work nicely if you can use your left hand, or don't mind using both hands to text.

All in all I love my phone, but had I known about these things I would never have bought it.

this is an excellent mobile, would highly recommended it to anyone. check out o2 offering a bluetooth headset foc with this handset!!!!!!!! who needs 3g when you can have i-mode, better, more on it and quicker than 3g.

O2 are running a good deal on this phone at the moment. Phone is free with any contract and you get a free bluetooth headset (RRP £49.99) and a free bluetooth printer (RRP £99.99) Phone is also imode capable and is so exclusive to O2 in the UK

I just bought the phone today and there is no USB nor infrared, and the phone does not accept MP3. But still, I got it for 30€ with Bouygues (in France) and I think it's still a good phone with normal but not outstanding features.
