Can anybody help me? Had the phone for a couple of months and recieved songs via bluetooth etc but the phone doesn't give me the option to set as a ringtone.Anybody else have this problem?

hi i was wondering if anyone knew how to use the sound editor? i dont know how to change my m4A files to AAC files to edit them for my ringtones. Please can someone either type back or preferably email back. Cheers xxxx

i cant get mp3 ringtones either, i dont think you can, battery life is extremely poor too...

hi there, i ve got the phone a few days, like some others the USB dont seem to recognise the phone, i have installed the cd, pls help! secondly are there 2 flash lights or just the one light that shines when using the flash?, again please help, thirdly, how do i reduce the font,as it is huge when i punch in a telephone number when before making a call? again help please?- thnk you kindly.

i have followed your suggestions but still cannot change mp3 to ringtones it keeps coming up unsupported file what does this mean??? can anyone help?????????? cheers

Have just got this phone and would like my MP3 as ring tones but i cant do it anyone know how??

Truly one of the greatest selling points of this phone, It looks awesome. It's got heaps of good features, and carrying spare batteries is no biggie, especially not for me.

I have the s500i and am having some problems i cannot get my music from my mp3 player to get them as ringtones.please help and explain otherwise phone is perfect. thanks

Hey I Got This Phone A While Back Roughly After Christmas. I Have Tried Various Ways Of Tryin 2 Convert Mp3's I Recently Downloaded iTunes. But Don't KNow How To Use It! Can Some1 Please Help Me?? . . . Thanx . . Please E-mail Me xXxXx

Has anyone else had problems with this phone restarting a lot. I think it might be due to overheating? It doesnt seemto happen unless I have it in my pocket where its obviously a bit warmer?

when u say u use a dongle to change the format of ur mp3's - what do u mean? as i dont have the cd software this mite be easier?

hi, i was just wondering if anyone knows where i can get the software from for the samsung s500i? i brought the phone off ebay and it didnt come with any of the cds so im stuck with the boring ringtones.

You say you can get 3/4 days out of the battery by setting brightness to lower levels but do you turn it off at night or leave it on all the time?
Also can anyone tell me if its possible to charge this phone through the usb cable!?
All in all I'm pretty happy with it. Besides battery life its more or less quality!

I got given this nifty lil phone for my 22nd but had probs with connecting it via the given software and usb cable to my laptop and had to resort to using a dongle to bluetooth aac files to use as my ringtone...yes people...mp3s don't work but convert them to aac format using itunes and you can do it...Enjoy!

HI please can somebody help me my mate lost my software cd to load mp3s to have them as ring tones. im lost wihtout it i Love the phone but without mp3s as ringtones its kind of a let down really! does anybody have the softeware cd or Know where i could get one from please reply via email xxx

Notice that others have had the same problem as me - connecting phone to PC by USB. I have also noted the suggestions made. However, still have the problem. Can anybody help please. Have Windows XP with SP2. Thanks

have just bought this phone, thought it looked great. impressed with pics & video but find it very confusing to use as yet!!!
can't seem to get into the phone memory to add contact no's, it just keeps telling me my sims full & won't let me go any further. also does anyone know what the highest transflash card is that this phone will take?
please someone help as i'm thinking of going back to my motorola v500-one touch & very easy to work.
i really am trying to give this phone a chance.

hi for everyone who cant get mp3's as ring tones all you have to do is covert mp3 to aac using itunes, then copy the mp3 once converted and paste it into a folder on your hard drive, then send it to your phone via bluetooth its really easy once you know how to do it.

I think the phone is great the photos from the camera are the best quality I have ever had from a mobile phone. Just 2 things are annoying 1.the headphones are the worst, keep popping back out of the ears as they are to heavy!
2. you can only use the tones provided on the phone for message tones and they all sound really bad!!
