subbu, 17 Jun 2010i have asked the Samsung service centre guys, they said the... morei guess you have not gone through the set fully and clearly..........guys...the camera quality is awesome,u wont be fooled at any cost as he said.......you wont get a set with more clarity and quality in this range except for nokia 6303c

When i hold this beauty in my hand it makes me feel worth for the money I paid, lookwise its neat. Features are upto mark, Camera Quality is Fine.. Slider smoothly glides.

It is possible to transfer java games (jar/jad)files from PC to Smasung metro GT s5200 Mobile phone. through data cable / bluetooth.This phone need's both both jar&jad file to install a game or application.
go to www.mobilerated.com select ur mobile & download both files (jad/jar). or go to www.getjar.com or www.zedge.com. What I want to know that which software should I install to view pdf & office document in my Samsung s5200.I have install a application named "MtextReader" it support only (.)txt [only text files].bye

i warn all of u again, don't go for this if u want to install applications of u'r choice and games of u'r choice. It has very low software capabilities compared to nokia and sony. I am unable to install dictionary becuase it is 800kb and any app more than 500kb won't work(even this is unofficial, officially phone doesn't support installation of any third party applications and games only through GPRS).If u want application freedom go for micromax Q5. It is loaded with applications and believe the OS is super fast and cheap at price. Don't know about its durability, but for ever changing mobile features in market i don't think any one will hang with the same phone for more than 2 years. guys i don't know whethere it supports app. installation ask before u buy.

danish, 16 Jun 2010hey can't we use .pdf file or .doc file in this phone.. ple... moreno u cant use, but u can install reader in unofficial way. only if it is of less than 500kb though any application more than this it won't work

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2010u wil not be able to use zoom feature while camera is ON. f... morewe can use the zoom while da camera is on...all we have to do is ....first on the camera and then press the volume button ...genarally + and - button will b there for volume press the - volume button...

samsung s5200 is the best for all options.
1.themes are not able to download, but we can create manually, it's very easy, and can create own pictured themes.
2.third party games and applications are not able instal from pc, only download from gprs then instal, it's not a problem, bcoz web(power access)is very comfort for browsing.
3.camera quality is enourmous........

subbu, 17 Jun 2010i have asked the Samsung service centre guys, they said the... moreIN my last post i am taking back that it doesn't have functionality of classic phones, it has good functionality. u can use t9 and symbols everywhere. I coudn't find them in my first attempt as they will not be in menu options. They can onle be accessed usin * or #.
Still don't know how to install applications. I met service center guy today he said games which are having both jar and jad files can be installed, i didn't tried it yet. He said he doesn't know about the application installations.
Still i say don't go for this phone, if u want u'r favorite applications installed on u'r phone. Enquire properly with samsung before buying for u'r requirements. u can do that in contactus in samsungmobile.in, here they provide answers fro our doubts regarding the functionality of phone
