Its a completely slow sets. It takes too much time to open each option. But it doesn't gets hanged. Videos are taking too late to transfer it to phone through PC suite, the only way available.

ssen18, 02 Oct 2009hi all, to all Star users out there, whether w/ or w/o WiFi... moreWell,for me the star non wifi user...it tooks 'bout 2-3 days for the battery life in average used..like phone sometimes,mostly just sms...
but it goes down to a day if u r active in internet.....n less than a day if u used cam continously....
i think this just a standard battery life for a cellphone these day.
just sett the phone to less spend energy battery...like brightness sett at level 3 instead 5...dim light...etc.
For cam quality it's nice...the nite mode sett is very helpfull in the 'dark' room...for outdoor result...u can get the best one coz the sunshine lite is so helpfull...sharp n clear images u'll get... ^_^

hi all, to all Star users out there, whether w/ or w/o WiFi, can anyone tell me how good the battery life is? I'm looking for a phone with a pretty big screen for all my reading and decent battery life. Great cam is a bonus since I like taking pictures when the mood strikes and I don't usually cart my digicam with me everywhere. its tiring to lug my charger everywhere i go and look for wall sockets. Can anyone give me a decent guess how long its gong to run with my usual stuff: hardly any texting/calling (except on emergencies), about 1-2 hours listening music (usually on my way to work/home). On a work day, i'd pobably read my ebooks about 3-4 hrs, give or take, depends on my work load and more than that on my rest days. I appreciate it!

unknown, 02 Oct 2009hi guys i jst bot a samsung star bt i cant log in to intern... moreget the APN name from the operator. try to manually create a GPRS connection with that APN. If it doesn't chances r much that ur operator is at fault. Try to access data from you sim card on a friends phone, if it works then only visit the samsung service center. Samsung service center has the responsibility to solve ur problem

i got this phone like 3 months ago n so far its gr8 the touchscreen is nice the camera isnt tht bad n its options r very cool since it isnt very pricey
my only comment is tht it only comes in black n i was hopin i'd get a cover 4 it or sth to change the color but there isnt ny covers for this phone.
