i bought this phone two weeks ago and this phone never stops to amaze me, awesome phone, money's worth
the only disadvantage is installing games or java applications is hectic, but then again i wouldn't suggest playing games on a touchscreen
i watched an entire movie (LUCK) on this mobile and the phone did not lag or frooze. i would give it a

i tried allok video converter but it only converts ... moreare you sure that it is registered?
if allok does not work..try winavi converter...
download it using torrent to get some serial...
jsut remember that HQ videos only support 25fps below... it has some lag and unmatch audio video when u use 30 & 29.97fps...

ohh wait...dont use xilisoft converter, it does compress mp4 so much...

i tried allok video converter but it only converts 5 minutes of the movie i tried to convert. any suggestions to correct this? thanks in advance.

I bought this phone a month ago. Can someone tell me how to disable the keypad tones without reducing the phone volume? The keypad sound is very irritating in a quiet environment like meeting etc. If i reduce the phone volume then the alarm and reminders also become silent.

can you tell me abt the durabitily of touch ... moreyes it is true, like the touch phones are very delicate they are not meant for gaming. The touch phones usually used as style accessory.
But here i want to tell you one thing that if you are able to take care of them, they will surely don't lost their charm.
Samsung Star is really very efficient phone, price tag is also considerable.
So think wisely and choose wisely...

Thanks for mentioning the issue on your website.
But the think is 150 rs can't be transferred to any account, you have to keep the amount in multiples of 100. So mention your account number on your website, so people start transferring the amount in your account. And I think keep 100/ per person wud be a good offer for everyone. We can easily collect 1100 rs if 11 people contribute.

Request to all Samsung S523A Users:
After verifying with devinder, its confirmed that the new firmware to which we all have upgraded has been giving to many people. We all have void our warranty already. Talking to Samsung Service Center, they told foreign firmware can damage the phone in long run. Each country works on different network signals, so firmware is usually designed in preference to the country.So it makes no fun in having a Indian model and having a European firmware.
Devinder will soon post the same on his website.
I request you all just unite and get Indian Firmware back to our lovely phone.
Interested people please start posting.....
