Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970u should buy s5230. because this is best about features. and this mob can support 16gb memory and dont hang. finger touch is so important in those mob and s5230 better than cookie. in those mob camra is 3 mp but s5230 is better. i have mobile shopping in iran. good luck

king and others, i need advice ..
Question 1 --> I got a Samsung Star S5233A, with no stylus. Firmware is S523AJPIE9, which is rare! Can I still update ??
Question 2 --> Also, how is the new firmware's main menu different from the one in S5233A?
Question 3 --> Lastly, does this new firmware have handwriting recognition feature in it ?? My S5233A does not have it ..

dude prob solved...actually keep the option BRCM...after u enter the Factory ffs...u must have changed it to MSM wala option....so..redo the whole setup

After Flashing a blue and Orange screen comes up......Phone doesnt Start.....

dude....my phone starts ...a red screen appears and a blue bar comes...nothing happens after that!!....PLS REPLY>>...stuck deeply!!!plsplspls

hii can any 1 tell me:
1.Wat is the sms capacity of the phone ,
memory status says it has 500 sms capacity but i get msg tht my inbox is full even whn my total sms{inbox + outbox} are just 245 why is it like that
2.Hw can u decide to store sms in phone or sim memory
once i stored my sms in option [save to phone] thn i tried to find my msg bt didnt get it ,
3.Is there any way whr we can set photo call for sms,
the photo call is availabl only for calling not for sms,unlike sony whr we get photo for both sms and calling.
Any one who knws abt it plz guide me.....thnk u

kevin, 21 Jul 2009can we flash the firmware more than one time i.e if we have... moreyes u can flash it as many times as u like. its like installing a new OS in ur pc.
make sure u flash ALL files (rc1,rc2, etc).

while using gmail - can we open pdf/.doc/excel attachments for viewing. for a lot of the gsm arena phone specs it mentions that pdf/doc/excel viewing option is there but in reality its not always the case as i found out with the nokia 5800

Friends...
Plz suggest a phone 4 me, among touchscreen phones.
my few needs for a phone is battery life,call clarity, good touch screen, value for money, good camera output, internet when using GPRS and less bugs.
thr is no mandatory for 3G, GPS & Wifi. Price is also a factor for choosing. I can afford the price of 5800 XM. I like the price of Samsung Star and LG Cookie.
Can i wait for 5530 XM?
apart from these 4, plz suggest if any other........
