here i givig u manual setting for airtel live & mobile office.
For AIRTEL LIVE:- go to menu----> browser----->settings ---->browser profile---->create----> inthe set name option give connection name anything u want like AL or Airtel live it doesn't matter below give access name "airtelfun.com" without quotes case sensitive.Next auth type don't do any thing & also don't type anything in user ID & Password leave it blank.Next select the Protocol HTTP or WAP u must select for http.Next Home url "live.airtelworld.com" without quotes case sensitive.Next thing is Proxy address "100.1.200.99:8080" without quotes. rest of setting leave it default don't do any thing.Open the home page enjoy ...

Thanks a lot for responding to my query. So it means that i have to create a new setting for accessing GPRS and the already present setting of airtel live and Mobile office will not work.
I will as per ur suggestion but what will be the accesspoint,proxy address,and all those stuff for airtel. Can you help me out.
Earlier i was using nokia fon and i had never manually entered any settings.
It would be gr8 if i get ur some help as u might be using internet on this fon.

i've re... moreno there are no direct settings so u can view the number but i can suggest u an indirect way of finding out...
1.open the meessage.
2.goto "MORE".
then "ADD TO PHONEBOOK". choose "NEW".
3."number already in use" is displayed. but then the new contact is created.
4.scroll down to check the number.
5.next don't save the new contact.
6.press the back key. u'll go back to the message u were viewing.
neway hope u read my post on multi-tasking with this phone...

Hi...i wud be highly obliged it anybody can tell me. ..does airtel live works in samgsung star mobile. m not able to access it.when i requested for setting a msg came that ur mobile is not a gprs enabled handset.i dont know what to do.if any body is using this set with airtel plzzzzzzzzz let me know me the settings or the way so that i can get them.thanks a lot in advance.

i've read this question here before:
can we set an option so we can know which number the contact used to SMS us? given the contact has multi-numbers. in call logs you can view this number used, however, would be better if we can know it when we view the message. sort of message details.

In total how many smses can be saved in this cell?
some comments, on different sites(including this), say 500, some 200 some 150..
can somebody confirm this to me plz..?

guys .. which one should i buy?? Samsung 5230/5233 or nokia 5130 or nokia 5310???? i m looking for good sound quality and other common features.. please do help soon coz i intend to get it tom... :-( also is it that the contact pics and ringtones in samsung 5230 is accessed only from phone memory?? can u fix this?? plus is it tht samsung is more delicate??? than nokia?? please do suggest wt i should do... m counting on u guys :-)
