I', having trouble playing MP4 videos recorded in my Nokia phone. Does this phone support MP4 video playback.

Hmmmmm. i bought dis cel like a week back, n must say its a very good buy.. considerin i paid just 9700 which includes a 4GB( bought seperately but within 9700)..
D screen is very good, very sensitive,
D music quality is absolutely rockin as i used to have a sony Walkman before d music is better dan d walkman but d only drawback is d lack of 3.5mm jack, n d headphones provided r very stiff.. a change to Beat phone headphones( in ear) r recommended,,
D camera quality is very good for a 3.2 MP cam, although d night shots r not all dat clear,, n lack of a Flash clearly shows,, but d quality of pics during day is next to a Digicam.. absolutely flawless..
D Video quality is also very good considering d screen is quite big,, but d only drawback is it plays mp4.. like ipod touch,, but doesnt support d avi format.. or d Divx as popularly known,,
D Msgin in dis phone is very good,, although it takes time to get accustomed to da touch screen,, but,, once u get used to it,, its just like typin on da keyboard of your comp,, although der's a seperated dongle( stylus ) provided,, but u don really need it to type as d screen is quite big,, n hey there is no compartment for d stylus in d phone which makes it a complete no no to attach it seperately..
Finally dis phone is known as " Samsung Star,, GT-5233A " in India.. n due to popular demand its very difficult to buy one.. Anymore queries?? i'll b more than happy to help..
N dis phone is much much beter dan d cookie.. cookie is 12500,, for which u can get d Samsung Star 3G.. so happy buying...

I am not getting Star in any mobile Store in Pune.
All are saying its out of stock & I have to wait for a week.
Some Dealers are saying Star is bad and I should buy Cookey…...
But after reading all the comments on this Site, I have decided to stick to my decision to buy Star.

hi... can someone plsssss tell me how is this phone overall and how will u rate it out of 10? does the camera have a flash? and i talk for hrs on the phone so hows the battery life? Is it worth buying this phone?and where can we download the games for this phone, i mean the motion games and all... pls reply ....im planning to get this one.... is it better than buying cookie?

I quite like this phone for its price. All those who are well informed please enlighten me.
1. What is the OS of this phone?
2. Does it have 3.5mm headphone jack?
3. How is the quality of screen colour as it is 256k and not 16million?
4. Can it play DivX/XVid avi? Or just h.263/h.264 and MP4?

It even has DNSe based surround sound effects....
It does have a decent bass line....
Don't expect toooooo much out of it!!
remember its a budget phone...

And what is fuss about samsung Music DJ.. a new phone comin in two months... same range same features better quality sound...... any idea...

hi devinder, could you please tell me about the bettary life and the call quilty? i want to buy this phone, but many ppls say that it has two main cons, 1st is In-call quality is disappointing, and 2nd is the bad battary life,last for a single day with like an hour of calls,..what do you says?

To make a wallpaper.
1. Pick three pics from anywhere .. google images.. anysize.. 4:3 ratio i guess
2. download irfanview. its free. install it.
3. open one pic and file>image>resize.
4. resize it to screen size.
5.repeat for all other pics.
6. paste them side by side in ms paint and save it.
7. or just wait for a week or so many ppl will make it themselves and post it on the net.
