nd yes, you can set ur images as wallpaper as well as in the menu background
one of its widget also allows you to play slideshow of your images on the idle screen. . .very nice phone in terms of features

its better than 5310expressmusic
its lyk SE phones but better but the headphones that they provide suck
however they can b replaced.

hey guys, i'm thinkin of buying this cell in couple of days but wanted to be sure about some things
1.how's the sound quality with headsets and without it
2.this piece does has the accelerometer feature right?where can u watch videos on the wide screen?
3.can we change themes if not atleast can we change the wallpapers
4.the handset in the preview on this website shows a stylus,after reading the opinions on this page not quite sure whether it has on or not?
5.and lastly what's the battery life like?
will be really gratefull if anyone can answer these questions for me?will be great help thanks!

Are the text messages stored as a conversation like in the Omnia? or as standard Inbox messages?

Samsung star looks better as compare to LG cookie in features , as well as in price. Samsung star has better battery life(bat of 1000 mA H)compare to cookie. Also star has an additional codec to watch h.264 compressed video files and had some good camera features like face detection. sound engine is better is samsung Star, as it supports 3d surround sound. the only problem with samsung star is the head phone they provide. but that can be replaced with better headphones from samsung itself. star looks better in feature.

I was vying for the LG Cookie but now that Samsung Star and Preston were announced I'm confused between the two. Preston hasn't come out yet though.

i had this phone for 9990 (practically 10K, hehe).. this is a reduced price because samsung launched the "great samsung mobile sale" where you can find samsung fones at lesser price than normal. well, this promo is present in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.. i am not sure if it is available in other areas but i think if there is POS DIGITAL in your area, guess this promo is present..
my s5233 has the stylus compartment rather than the dongle type...
and i had been able to install some games the same way as i install games into my other fones ... but not all games worked but some did..
