I haven't tried Samsung before but I'm considering having my first one with this S5230. I'm no longer after those multimedia features in a phone. All I need is a stylish phone that is good on the budget and I think I found one already.

In the box i got a PC Studio CD, some not so great headphones, a cable, a sim, the phone, and that's about it.
The camera isn't really good at all, no autofocus makes it a bit rubbish if I'm honest.
No 3G or wi-fi means the internet isn't that fast either, but I guess if you have unlimited browsing or something it won't be costing you loads.

i like it! i'm so happy i have this! anyway this phone comes with a free stylus on the upper right hand and you can take it out and insert it back anytime... i love how the phone was designed coz' it really is user friendly, not so complicated and jeee it's so cute! Although this phone lacks flash, wifi connection and all that, for a phone with an affordable price but it works or functions innovatively... You guys should buy this!
