Else reach out to the retail outlets... the price for today is 9500... it will surely drop further buy wont got below 9200 to 9000... ppl can still laugh about it if they want to lol.. The sound quality is good both the inbuilt speaker and headphones way. The battery backup is something amazing with this phone. I did not expect so much out of it...

First of all u can attached your stylus on the side wayz ..and this phone is available in axiom telecom ,select city mall .46-47.
the touch i excellent + battery somehow is really good .A worth buying a phone with the feature like smileshot .
So come and buy it fast .

rich@cpw, 15 May 2009the camera has no flash, and is not supplied with a pen for... moreDear, it has a stylus, however it is supplied as a dongle.. the phone does not have a chamber to hold it. The battery backup is excellent and is far better than cookie! Anyone who wants business features like doc reader and other stuff may stay away! The OS as I have mentioned in my earlier review is wonderful to use and responds well. The cam does not have a flash, however is cam is wonderful with good lightning conditions.

This phone is cool, though the version i checked out just yesterday is Star S5233, and its available at 10 K only. What a buy, it has a flash too. I can't wait for my salary to grab this beauty.

This is known in india as Samsung Star , just got it today and the experience is amazing got it for 9700 Rs. its worth every penny...full of features.
think this is going to be the best phone under Rs.10,000/- for quite some time... some drags No.3G and Wi fi... but in india its not much of a issue
go ahead...

Anyone using this phone, how is the overall performance, is it slow to respond? Any idea on the OS, is it Java based OS or Symbian or some other? Any idea on availability of applications/games for this phone? I am planning to buy this phone in 1-2 days so please reply soon. Thanks.

just visited one shop for this phone. seems good,lightweight, software is a demo version of omnia (can say), ;-)
cost in Pune is not more than 10500/-
very good battery backup as compared to LG cookie.
in this category both are worth just to chose S or L.
in lower category nokia 5130 and LG GM 200 are worth.
sound quality is at par and GM200 tops in all cost in pune is 6000/-
