I bought a mobile of type s5230 but now I live in Egypt, the event that this phone has its driver(operating soft ware) always closed and does not respond to anything, i went to power of attorney(samsunge agency) and he told me that there is no service for this type of the mobile phones in Egypt, I ask where can I find service for this type Since I was in Egypt, Thanks for the help

My girlfriend is having this phone for one year now... more1. well if the back cover is loose, then that means that il already had a physical damage. it wont be replaced anymore. but i guess u can buy another back cover to the manufacturer itself already.
2. my phone doesnt freeze at all. try to do a master reset in that phone, that may help in resolving your friend's issue with the phone.

Hello!
My girlfriend is having this phone for one year now and it has some problems:
1) the back panel is now very easy to remove because one small holder broke (I don't know how)
2) it freezes sometimes during calls (this I cannot explain how it happens, but she must remove the battery and to restart the phone)
You can find games, apps, it's ok regarding this matter, also the camera is good, screen is nice but it got scratched from sand I believe. For the price is ok.
Has anyone experienced the same freezing behaviour?

milton, 10 Aug 2010how can i add a mp3 song as my message tone or cant iyou can. just go to the profile setting. and on the down arrow in there at the top right of the screen, select on message and then choose the mp3 song or whatever that you want to use as a msg tone :) hope it helps.

Yes i am useing same phone samsung stars5230.it looks nice but this phone has a problem,after use the cemara if you press switchoff stop bottem dercctly then the phone dosent work,it will be hang,even touch screen system also not work.please advice me.
